Panther Lake at Orange County National
Played On 01/25/2024Great layout. Picturesque holes. Well maintained. 6430 yards from men’s tees so a couple par fours over 400. Greens were much slower than other courses played.
Shingle Creek Golf Club
Played On 01/26/2018Top shelf establishment. Put my group out behind a 5-some. Starter said they played the day before in 4 hours. At times we waited and other times we were clear. Hit into them once when they were off to the side behind trees. Ended up playing in 4 hours 15 minutes. Not bad. Conditions were tough. Windy and chilly this day. Very good layout. Greens were good. Maybe a 10. Will play again.
Celebration Golf Club
Played On 01/25/2018Greens are heavily sloped and were faster than group is used to the day we played - Stimp probably around 11. It was cool and there was a 2-club wind the entire round with many holes right into the teeth of it. Made for a challenging day.
Mission Inn Resort & Club - El Campeon Course
Played On 01/24/2018Layout features both up and downhill shots with many forced carries with two or three island greens. Greens were fast this day for my group - Stimp probably 11+. Course was in great shape for being off-season. Played in a little over 4 hours. Only problem was everything was shutdown when we finished at about 5 PM.
