We drove over a hour to play this course. We arrive and the pro shop staff says “unfortunately we can’t get you out today because golfnow screwed up and shouldn’t have posted the tee time. That was it. He never offered a discount or a round for a different day/time. Left us there with zero and didn’t care at all. I would hope management would read this and contact me to offer me something but I doubt it.
Very disappointing and unprofessional.
If I was around the corner I wouldn’t mind but I drove over an hour.
Stay private and don’t ever offer “member for a day” if this is how you are going to treat guests.

I’ve played a lot of golf away from home. This tops worse experience ever. I booked tee time night before and had what I thought was the 1st tee time at 7am..upon arrival the Starter had the worse attitude. I had no idea where I was going or what cart I was taking..I had to put my own bag on cart and then was told I had to wait 20 mins because the men’s Lesgue is going out before me..I said how can you be 20 mins behind when the day just started? He said this time of year is very busy. I understand that. It’s winter in Florida. So I went to the tee box and spoke to the men’s Lesgue and asked if I can jump ahead of them. I jumped to hole #3 and started from there by myself. Curious if it’s so busy why is 7am available and I’m a single? Anyway I get through the front quickly and come to 10 and there’s 4 carts waiting to tee off. Obviously nowhere to go I went back to clubhouse and asked starter how there are groups on 10..he said they only play 9 holes. Does anyone in management here read these reviews? The biggest problem I read is pace of play..this is why. You can’t put people out the back when you have groups coming from front. The entire course is backed up the rest of the day now..Unless you get rid of the old miserable starter and change operations this course will continue to get poor ratings. It appears that even management doesn’t care enough to make changes.

The course was one of the best I’ve played. Design, conditions, and speed of greens were exceptional. Loved it. The staff however need to learn hospitality. I arrived only 15 mins before my tee time snf I was told it was fine that I had time. I never played here before so I had no clue where to go and nobody offered help. I after finding my bay on a cart I headed to starter who informed me I was late and my group I was paired up with had already tees off and I’d have to catch up with them. Total bs since I was there. Anyway I played w 2 great guys who made experience worth it even after missing opening hole.

Booked tee time as a single joining group of 3 others. I get to course and starter says I do not have a spot. Wait over half hour to be paired up. We were then put behind a large group of women golfers. That’s fine that they’re golfing but we shouldn’t have been out behind them when there are 3 separate 8 hole courses. Needless to say the round was over 5 hrs which is unacceptable in my mind. Waiting on every hole is not enjoyable.
