This course always seems to play the longest rounds with us banking a 4:47 this time. The last two times we played there it took well over five hours. Course in fair shape.

Raptor Bay is a course in optimal condition with smooth fairways and manicured greens. All the people were very friendly. The only issue we had was that the starter explained that the course took us back to the starter's booth at the 5th and 9th holes at which time we could use the refreshment stand. Except it wasn't open either time and at the ninth hole completion neither was the starter. We could have loaded up on more refreshments before we started if we knew it was closed when we began play.

The course was in great condition on a very hot day. What was exceptional was the service there. The starter was very helpful since we had not played there in over a year. Then, one of the course managers kept checking on the pace of the play to keep things moving along. The pace clocks on holes are helpful.
Centerton Golf Club

Course fairways have a lot of heavy grass and are not trimmed for the most part. Tee boxes are not in good shape especially for women.
Plus, bar and grill always seems closed.

Avalon is very well-maintained and the course design is spacious with just enough complexity. Great service and nice people there. Also well-equipped pro shop.
