Great price though GN, course was in great shape. In a very nice area so usually a higher price round, but it was worth it at reduced rate. I would recommend it and will be back

Staff very courteous, good rate. Range and practice facilities is very good shape. Area has received heavy rain recently and I was worried how the course would handle... it was great. Only a handful of spots that had excessive water/mud mostly off fairways. Tees, fairways and greens were in excellent condition. ** Ok gripe time. If folks would spend a few seconds to repair ball marks on greens instead of 5 minutes to line up each putt, the greens would be even better. This goes for any course. I think most people have no clue; repair yours plus one more. Ok done**

Yes cart paths are under repair, should be marked though, so just take a drop if your ball lands on them and move on. Better yet, keep it in the fairway.

19th hole- good food, snacks adult beverages.
Overall a great older course, look forward to playing again soon.

I've played The Legend at Arrowhead many times over the last 15 years. Had a great round, played with 2 locals that play the course 4-5 days a week. Was a Friday AM and we cruised through.

The course is in fantastic shape except the goose p**p problem continues every year to get worse and worse. I do not mean 8-10 birds, there is an enormous amount. They (GC owners, HOA ??) need to contact USDA -APHIS and pay to have the birds removed. The birds continue to make an absolute beautiful course nasty. I understand some people will say "Oh but they are so wonderful and majestic birds to look at " etc... Other courses have the problem and remedy it. Please Legend owners take care of it. Thanks

I've played this course about 6 times in last 2 years.

Played on a Sunday morning 7:20 start with my son who is a beginner. Pro shop was friendly, we played as a two some and kept pace with the group ahead even though my son has his moments of being a beginner. Course was in great shape, fairways nice, rough was good, thick and green. Greens had recently been aerated (though not sand filled) so putting was a little challenging, but managed to make several 5-6 footers so not that bad. Wish they would have a noted this on GN.

For the money well worth it, nice little course par 63 in between an executive and traditional par 70. Few par 5's, handful of 4's and balance 3's. Can't wait to play again. I nice change from big the expensive courses.

It's been awhile since played the Palms course, but it was in the same shape as last time- Excellent. Got off to a slow start and had to wait behind two foursomes (we had 3) most of round. I took advantage of the extra time to repair other idiot's careless etiquette. So yes play could have been a little quicker. Had a great time with the guy myself and my friend were paired up with.

Course has actual "rough" and desert for any stray shots and you will use all clubs in your bag.

Fairways great, greens great, price great $30. IMO you can play Kierland, Camelback etc...for another $ 80-100 and play quicker and have a similar round probably b/c there are less folks on the course. No attendants to clean my clubs after round, but again I didn't pay for it. Look forward to playing it few more times this summer.

Have not played this course in over 7 years. I actually grew up three streets over from course when it was brand new in the 80's. While it has seen it's better days and the neighborhood is getting a little run down, it is still a great challenging city course for most levels of player. If your used to playing a meticulously maintained course in N Scottsdale, this is not it. However the greens were in fantastic shape as well as fairways so enjoy, I did !!
