One of my favorite course layout. Fairways were soft which makes the course play long, even from member tees. Greens smooth and fast.
Carmel Valley Ranch Resort

We’ll maintained course. Front 9 mostly flat. Back 9 has 5 holes on the hillsides. Would not recommend walking this course. Excellent course conditions.

I knew before teeing it up that this was going to be a real challenge. First time players need to keep this in mind.

I really like this layout and have played here a few times each of the past several years. Recent heavy rains have really soaked the course and have made most of the bunkers unplayable. The real issue is the number of unrepaired ball marks on the greens. Overwise, the greens would be very good.

I was a member here for 20 years when it was private. Great layout and greens in very good condition. The sand traps were in very poor condition, but they had people working on them.

Great course layout. Unfortunately the overall course conditions were not very good. The greens and tee boxes were very poor, but based on the visability of fertilizer, it appears that they are working to address this.

The overall course condition was poor. Tee boxes were terrible as was the areas around the greens. Several traps were dirt and not sand.

Played On 10/07/2021This is a challenging course and I would not recommend it to someone who struggles to shoot bogey golf. Even the shorter tee boxes would be challenging for a high handicap golfer.

The sand traps were more mud than sands and there were very few rakes.
The greens were rough and bumpy.
Would not play here again.

The Golf Club at North Hampton

The greens were in poor condition and slightly top dressed with sands. I was told that Hurricane Irma had a negative impact. Before booking a tee time here, I suggest calling the pro shop and ask about the condition of the greens.
