Overall Condition is a 9. Layout is a 7, Greens were awesome but don't expect it to last with many newbie players and very few who will fix a divot. Lit course for night play. Perfect short game practice then go have a drink and dinner at TopGolf and maybe hit some balls like you were going to the driving rage. Pricey yes, but fun.

Always a pleasure to play the Destroyer. Good news all new carts coming next week.

Had a 7:30am tee time. After my round I asked if there was any specials on a second round? Yes indeed. $14.95 including cart. Had lunch and played again shaving 10 strokes of my game. Great value and staff.

My favorite course by far and I have posted before about the course and staff. No matter what my game I always leave wondering how long before I can get back again..

So let's talk about the Marshall. Every been out with an over aggressive marshal who is telling you to pick up play when there is no one in front or behind you for 10 minutes plus. Yea what the heck. Ever have a group in front of you practicing with multiple balls, holding up four groups behind or hitting up on you and laughing in a drunken state? Wonder where the Marshall? Yip me too.

So at the 1st Tee there were two open time slots because of no shows before the foursome in from of me took off. About 20 minutes behind the group ahead. We take off 10 minutes later as a twosome then another twosome takes off behind us. Things are going smooth when the Marshall comes out to the 9th hole and is super friendly. He asks if the group in front of us is moving at an OK pace? Yes they were. He comments how he noticed a large gap between them and the group ahead of them. I told him that there was a 20 minute break in front of them. He thanked me and just wanted to make sure we were not being held up. Then he says hey there are lots of groups coming up behind you, would you mind if the twosome behind you join up with you for the back nine? We tell him sure and we had them catch up with us at the 10th. He thanked us and off he goes. We finished our round with four of us and the couple husband and wife who joined us were awesome. We never caught up with the group in front of us again and never seen anyone behind us. How about that a Marshall that does his job, asks and does not demand and has the best interest of all the players in mind including opening up the course for groups behind who are starting to bunch up. Try to find that at other golf courses.

Three Cheers for you Marshall! I can wait to return..

My review of the course is simple. Nice people very much and up and down type course. Good condition. Nothing special but a good value.

They did not have a marshall or Ambassador out on the Thursday I was there. The two men in front of me on hole 6 decided they needed to take an extra 6 to 10 practice putts each. While I stood waiting about 125 off the green standing by my cart. I was looking at them and waiving from time to time. They ignored me. Behind me starts backing up. Finally they moved on.

I was frustrated so I chose to just bypass hole 7 a par 3 and go straight to hole 8 where I hit my Tee shot. I did not see the need to ask their permission to play threw or explain as I knew they were not nice guys and it would end up in a confrontation.

The two men then came at me in their cart using very foul language (Yes Very Foul) and telling me they were going to hit into me and how out of line I was and how did I dare play in front of them?

I kept my cool and advised them that I have left others laying on their back sides for less. I advised them they should refrain from further conversation and that I would rather go home then go to jail. I packed it in and left without letting it escalate. They were so lucky I was using my common sense as I am 6'4 240lbs a vet and could have hurt them.

Stopped at the pro shop and advised them of the issue and advised who they were. Thanked them and went home for the day.

Golf is fun and Golf Etiquette is an important part of the game. For those that ruin our day we should have a way to report them and have them removed for un-sportsman like conduct. Or we can just kick their hind ends. lol

This course is open to the public. I hesitate to write this review as I love this course and like that it is not to crowded. My round included a cart with GPS unit on it with hole layout and yardage as you move. It included my 1/2 of a small bucket of balls. I love that you can drive off the grass at the driving range. The practice putting area is challenging. My buddy and I got there a bit early for a 12:45 tee time. We hit some balls and got on the putting green. The staff at the pro shop are great . They have a nice selection of everything you might need. I checked in with the starter and let him know we were early and would hang out at the bar. He said he would see what he could do. At 12:10 he came and got us and said he had a single to join us and we could go at 12:15. I tried to tip him and he would have nothing to do with it. Again awesome staff. The course was great with all grass from Tee to Green in good condition. Pace of play was awesome with no one on our tail and only getting behind 2 or three times for a couple minutes. To make it even better the Blue Angles were doing a show in Huntington Beach so we enjoyed our own air show from next door as planes took off and went straight up full afterburners and did some fly by's with smoke. Best day of golf I have ever had if you are not looking at my score. I play here once a week and have not found any place I would rather be.
