The people working there are great, and it is the cheapest choice on Maui, but I cannot think of any aspect of the course that warrants positive comment. The greens are bad, and the fairways are worse, with both having poor grass and large patches of bare dirt…. the bunkers are like concrete, the tee boxes sloped, and their feature 18th hole is closed. Wouldn’t waste the money again.

Very good for the price, as long as you get a major Hot Deals discount. Their cart GPS doesn’t know what hole it is on, and it’s accuracy is otherwise suspect. The fairways are either bone dry or flooded. The greens run fast or slow, but seldom consistent. The stairs up to the tee box on 15 are unsafe to the point of scary, and the course is only 17 holes (18th green is under construction, which they don’t tell you).

Have played this course before. New management has not improved it much. Bunkers need sand. Greens need work, but it’s winter. Fairways were rough, but it’s winter. Pace of play was not impressive and not marshalled. Staff was fabulous!

We have played this (and Lexington) many times over the years, so not a surprise. Have generally enjoyed the track and the experience. Decent maintenance for winter growth,. We teed off at 12:38. Pace of play was a problem… waited most holes, Quit on 16 because of the wait… 17 had 3 groups on it, 18 had four! No Marshall, although one kind gentleman passed through and inquired, but nothing seemed to be done to speed it up. It was getting cold and the sun had dropped below the yardarm and it might have taken an hour to finish except that others were also bailing. Unacceptable and disappointing.

Great track with challenge on several holes... but with some improvement needed/in progress. Biggest concern was the traps... like concrete. Some with rocks as much as sand, but they all need sand, and good sand, not pebble sand. Next, greens... mowed so short it is killing them, but an easy fix... Lots of crews on the course making it better! Fairways were fine, wide, good condition, and not crowded by the real estate. Staff friendly and very proactive. This course is all grass; no desert links or arroyo... works for all levels of golfer. Would highly recommend it.

This is a senior's course in a subdivision of Del Webb style ranchers. There is nothing challenging about it, and less that is interesting. The water hazards are are mostly for decoration (except 17) and most of the sand traps were the same... unless you were a slicer dicer hooker type player. They didn't water anything, but rather painted the fairways and greens with coloured fertilizer liquid so it looked green. The result was that there were no divots because the fairways were hardpan, and the sandtraps were like concrete. The washrooms were filthy, including in the clubhouse, and there was no water on the course until 16... although there was a nice cart girl making the rounds. Greens needed grass to infill and much of the fairways needed work. I am a 22 and shot 6 under my par easily from 6000 yards. $60? Get Real. I will not be back.

I went with 6 others and we had a good time. It was very windy, but sunny. The course had not recovered from water, and cold so had not "filled in" as much as it might have from the spring seeding so patchy with hardpan divots... also too much rock in the traps.

Well kept and looking good relative to several other "good" courses I have played in the LV area. Many have been hit by the winter freeze but this course seemed to recover and they were working it extensively. Wide open fairways, easy bump and runs up to the greens, a couple of challenges but not many. Almost all grass - very little arroyo or desert landscape. - this is a great course for the average relaxed game.

This is a good course in the links tradition, with lots of arroyo and desert. Usually it is in pretty good condtion, but unfortunately the course took a winter hit and the freeze affected it. The greens and fairways both need attention, but much of that is the need for them to recover and grow out... I doubt the staff could do much otherwise. Ihave played it before but would wait to play it again until Mother Nature lends a hand.

One of my favorites so I'm biased. Fabulous layout, great challenges, and fine surroundings... but not in the best condition... especially the greens, which were terrible... diseased and patched, heavily ball marked, and not cut nor rolled. The waste bunkers near the greens should have sand so you can play out of them without destroying an expensive club... and so they would be punishment and not jail.

This course just gets better... the fairways and greens were in super shape, and it is mostly cleaned up and tended from it's winter issues... still some repairs underway but maintenance is evident. Only real negative was the sand traps... mostly very little sand over clay so a "real" sand shot did not happen very often.... also, major rocks/stones in the traps which could be should be raked out... lousy to dent a club playing the game.

I played this course 9 days before and loved the track but trashed the condition of the course. This round, playing the same 18 of the 27, it was SUBSTANTIALLY better. First and foremost the bird droppings were largely gone and so not an issue... the piles of debris were diminished so there was not the extent of blow-by over the playing areas. The traps were pretty, but the bottoms of the traps were clay with very little sand on top... a normal sand out does not work... have to punch it and hope... staff was excellent and although we waited (3 on 1 for the last 3) playing time was exactly 4 hours, so they weren't slow, we were quick. I would play it again and recommend it.

Nice layout and design... works for all skill levels... course needed work... especially vacuum of the bird turds on the tee boxes, and landing zones anywhere near water... otherwise lots of indications of work in process so will show well one day soon... sand good, fairways OK, tee boxes good but lots of bird droppings... greens fast but mottled... driving range was mats and did not allow a forward area designated to be able to hit off grass... especially for driver (I hate the mats - here cannot set a tee height)...paid a deal rate through Golfnow and have seen this course at twice the price so this is all grain of salt stuff... still, I would have rather been impressed.
