Tannenbaum Golf Club
Played On 05/08/2017Beautiful course
The slogan Arkansas' best kept secret wasn't misleading. It's in the middle of the woods, and it's absolutely beautiful. The par three 2nd and par 3 12th are absolutely immaculate. The 12th has a huge drop-off that reads around 150 but played about 100 yards. I paid 60 dollars for all day, unlimited golf including lunch and a free sleeve of your ball of choice. The greens looked a lot faster than they were, however they were still in decent condition and most of them are pretty large. Definitely a must play if you live in Arkansas.
Nutters Chapel Golf & Country Club

It's a pretty course, but not in good condition. I've lived here for the better part of a year, and the greens are always a little deceptive. The greens aren't quick and they're pretty hard, so spinning the ball doesn't give much of a reaction most of the time. The greens are also pretty small for the most part, and the par 5's are pushing 600 yards from the tips other than 9 and 18. Not a single fairway bunker on the course, but still demands well placed tee shots. The bunkers lack sand, its literally mostly rocks so I don't even play out of them unless I'm playing competitively. It's 40 dollars for a non member, which isn't that great of a deal.
Falconhead Golf Club
Played On 03/20/2017Not what I expected for the pay
Everything was great until me and my playing partner reached the first green. We paid something around 180 bucks for a two man and expected better playing conditions. They fertilized the greens right before we teed off at 7:30 and gave us no discount despite there being loads of fertilizer all over the greens, kind of like someone dumping sand all over. The course was beautiful, everyone in the shop was helpful and friendly, and I loved the layout. A lot of elevated greens and the par three 8th is a must see, beautiful green hanging over a pond. Great course overall, but the conditions weren't as expected and we paid full price despite having the fertilizer or It would have been 5 stars.
Persimmon Ridge Golf Club

It's a cheap course, greens roll about like carpet, and it's not in good shape. It's a pretty track, but the course itself isn't great.
