Sunday Afternoon Round

It was a great day weather wise and was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course and greens after reading some of the other more harsh reviews. the greens were healthy and although not lightning quick they rolled true. The rough was rough and the fairways were in good shape. Quite a few of the tee boxes could use some attention due to shade issues but for what I paid, I will definitely be going back. I walked the front and rode the back only because I was tight on time. The back is longer and more challenging than the front but it is a nice layout. I will definitely be making the drive out there again. Oh, and Hannah in the golf shop was very courteous, knowledgable and professional.

Incredible Value

I have been in the golf industry for over 20 years. I wanted to play a round where I was just another paying customer. I have to say that this Club does an incredibly good job for what they have. The fairways were in t=really good shape and although the greens were not as fast as what I am used to, they held and rolled very true. If you are looking for a place to play that is a great VALUE and a very well kept secret, call the golf shop and set up a tee time.

Course is not long ut requires you to use every club in your bag, which is something a lot of courses lack these days. You can't just bomb driver off the tee unless you can really work the ball (which is difficult this day and age with the equipment we all play with). It is a fun and challenging golf course that is in a beautiful setting.

I played on a Tuesday and apparently, it got me all the golf I wanted to play for the day. If you are a Raleigh resident, get out there and support this locally owned business! It worth it, especially this time of year!
