We played on a spectacular day. The course is in excellent shape. Greens are so firm it’s hard to make a ball hold. I suspect this is from being very new. Greens are tricky, with lots of break on most greens. Pace of play is not great, as they expect rounds to take about 4 1/2 hours. A lot of time is wasted by many groups on the greens as they cope with the speed (fast) and breaks.

Played both courses (Crooked Cat and Panther Lake) over two days. Courses are both excellent layouts and in very good condition. Ranger is diligent about groups maintaining pace of play (4-41/2 hours). Highly recommend both, particularly if a florida resident, as rate is much cheaper.

Staff is friendly, pace was pretty good for the busy season and overall experience was excellent. Will definitely be back!!

Played on a Friday afternoon with a couple of members. They were incredibly pleasant and helpful throughout the round. Pace was a little slow, as it was Friday afternoon. Would definitely recommend this course.

Beautiful course, friendly staff and pretty good pace of play. Greens are very well kept, as are the fairways. Good variety of tee choices to allow people to pick on that fits their game. Will return for more!!

Excellent course, though still in startup mode, with new housing and road network incomplete. It's a challenging track, with a good assortment of tees to allow one to choose according to ability. Pace of play was a little slow, I assume due to the fact that most golfers are playing it for the first time. Greens were very firm and extremely large, with a three to four club difference between front and back placements on some greens. Touchscreen GPS in carts is excellent (unless you manage to hit the ball somewhere the cart can't go!!).
