This is an excellent course that I am glad they opened for public play again after many years as a private club. The course is not particularly difficult but club selection and position are very important.

It is a shame this course is closing; it is an older course rambling through 100 year old Live Oak trees
with reasonable elevation changes, raised greens with
good green side bunkering and various left and right doglegs. We can only hope it will reopen in the near future.

I am a 73 yr old single digit handicap ( middle tees )
playing this course for the first time and shot an 83. I played the north course.
The course is a challenge but it is fair with ample landing zones off the tees. Approach shots require accuracy and good club selection because getting down from the fringe can be interesting. The greens were excellent, quick but true. If we were staying longer I would play this course again!
