San Tan Highlands
Played On 07/30/2015Lousy Staff
Course is okay to play - some challenging holes, esp. on the back nine - problem here is the staff - so called "golf pro and director" drove his car onto the course to crab about our cart being too close to the green, problem was that the cart was parked on a patch of weeds and nowhere near any real green grass - his attitude was condescending at best, when a simple "please don't park that close to the green would have sufficed - also, we were the last group out and some staff member pulled the pins on the remaining holes, they had to know we were still golfing and it was not dark out yet - WILL NOT PLAY HERE AGAIN AND WILL INFORM ALL I KNOW TO DO THE SAME
Sidewinder at Gold Canyon Golf Resort
Played On 07/24/2015Great Scenery
A great course nestled in the Superstitions, overall a short course that plays long and has a variety of challenges along the way. My group will definitely return again, we want to try our luck on the Dinosaur course. Only downside was that there are no water stations along the course and it was hot out.

This is a nice course to play - has some challenging holes that make play very enjoyable - if you are a low handicap, it may be too easy - had a good time
Apache Stronghold Golf Course
Played On 04/18/2014Very Scenic
The course was extremely scenic nestled in the foothills - they were reworking the greens, so there was a lot of sand on the greens and they did not play true - the distance markers in the fairways were confusing, need better way to give golfers idea as to distance - it is a very challenging course that plays much longer than noted on the card, be prepared if you are an amateur to have a much higher score - but the scenery makes up for the inability to have very many pars
