Maryland National Golf Club
Played On 12/26/2015Best Golf for the $$$ -- Incredible Value
It was the first dry day after 3 straight days of rain. It's a championship course that drained, played and challenged like one! The course was in fabulous condition for it to be winter golf and no puddles anywhere. The bunkers where packed from the rain, but still playable. And the greens rolled a little slow, but understandable because of the rain. The round cost me $60...and was easily worth it.
Hobbit's Glen Golf Club
Played On 11/16/2015What a great track!
Well, for a November round, the course was in pretty great shape. The shame is that the general public only gets to play it on Monday. But for 20 bucks I made the most of my round! The greens rolled well, the fairways were in great shape and the overall course conditions were pretty dag on good! Had time to get a sandwich before I started my round. Which gave me an opportunity to see the new clubhouse and facilities! It's very state-of-the-art, modern and A heck of an upgrade from the old days. If you have a Monday free and can get to Columbia, Maryland...it will be the best value you can find for 20 to 30 bucks!
Ospreys Golf Club at Belmont Bay, The
Played On 9/9/2013What a GREAT course!!!
Don't be fooled by the yardage...this course will eat you alive if you don't manage it -- especially for 1st-timers. Although there is no range, you have the opportunity to swing into a driving net to warm up. The course was in good shape. The greens were great and rolled faster than average. I will definitely play this course again. And look forward to employing a new strategy given the course-knowledge that I now have.
