Course is quite challenging. Narrow fairways, protected greens.

Most fairways were fairly straight, a few doglegs.Some water and a creek that ran down one side of the course.
Couple of very protective geese who charge you if you get too close.
Our game was spoiled by a bully who was hitting of the 10th.fairway to get back to the 18th which he was on. He was in front of the tee box. He felt we should all wait for him to play.He was verbally extremely abusive, his co-players said he was in a bad mood.He wanted to punch someone.

Heard so much about this course but overall was disappointed.
It was an hour's drive from Phoenix to get there.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Quality people.
Course is an odd layout. Lots of desert. Fairways and greens in good condition. Pace of play was so slow.
It was all a bit basic.

Course is in excellent condition. Greens were fast but in great shape. Wide fairways with well placed bunkers and trees. Water in front of the 18th was perfect way to end the day. Pro shop was organized and helpful.
Highly recommend the course and intend to play it again. We were paired with a couple of singles who play there regularly and provided us with good insight into the course and great companionship.
Thank you for playing with us. We are sorry the course didn't meet you expectations. I am kind of surprised that you thought the course was easy. That is not usually what people think about the course. Hopefully you are willing to give us another shot and we can do better the next time.
