First the good...very friendly staff, nice layout. Now the not so good...conditions were marginal at best. The fairways were in rough shape, and the greens had recently been punched. Hope they work to improve such as the layout is very good. Not sure I can say it was worth the $40 green fee

Played here on a tip from a friend and really enjoyed the course. You can make the course as hard as you want by changing tee boxes. The 2 par 5's on the back nine are as good as anywhere. A little off the beaten path, but worth the effort.

This course is a true test of your golf game. It has fast greens, large bunkers, and a layout that requires every club in the bag. Even so, I had a blast playing it. Combine a stay at the Cottages at Old Waverly with a round on it's course, and you have the makings of a legendary guy's weekend.
