I played this course for the on Saturday afternoon. The staff was friendly and the pace was good. The layout is challenging and deceptive off the tee if you haven’t played the courses before so I am looking forward to getting another crack at it.

Greens: Greens were fast and undulating and I love fast greens. I really liked the practice green was in excellent shape and just as fast as the course green. My one complaint about the greens is that there were a lot of I repaired divots. Much of this course winds through a neighborhood so obviously the neighbors are lobbing balls onto some of the greens at night and creating the ball marks. Some holes looked like a short game practice green back home. Others will be annoyed but the greens were firm enough that when I repaired the marks in my line the ball rolled true.

Fairway: Fairway were in great shape. The first hole fairway had some patchy spots. All the other holes (when I found the fairway) the ball was sitting up like it was on my rug at home. Fairways were soft so there was no 25-30 yard role outs. Basically carry distances on each shot. There are 5 tee boxes to play from so you can choose accordingly if you know the course is going to play it’s true distance. or you could be stuck hitting long irons into par 4s half the day.

Layout: I liked the layout. A straight ball hitter can shoot a good score. There are doglegs left and right but I didn’t stand on any tee and say “I need to hit a fade/draw”. Pick a spot to hit it and go. The course navigates nicely through a neighborhood without you actually noticing the neighborhood. The homes are out of play on most holes even for the banana ball with the big stick. A good shank from a lefty on #7 might challenge that opinion. The course looks open but the landing areas look small. The intermediate rough wasn’t too punishing but you aren’t throwing any darts from the rough either. I hit every club in the bag and had a good time.

I would definitely recommend the course but bring a good divot tool.
