This was my first time on this course courtesy of my GolfNow special.

My only concern was (and this is hardly the first time I've encountered the situation here in Gulf Shores) though I was advised via signage to wear a mask in the facility, NONE of the staff I encountered wore masks. The prop shop did have one of those plexiglas shields, but the starter, the grille attendant, and the cart manager were all maskless.

That having been said, the courtesies I was extended were terrific. Grille attendant dropped of courtesy cheese crackers for me to take on my round. The pro shop attendant was were courteous and, when he found out this was my first time, proactively offered me a course guide book.

I couldn't have been more pleased (except for my score).

Pleasantly cool day with little wind which was surprising near the Gulf of Mexico.

Plays longer than my course at home, even from the red tees.

Greens in moderate shape (some dry patches); fairways have a little crabgrass growing in them.
