Baytowne at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort
Played On 04/21/2022The course was in very good shape overall. The fairways are excellent. The greens are very good, but a little bumpy in places. Challenging course so don’t be shy about teeing it forward if you’re a mid to high handicapper.

This course is designed well and has a lot of character. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pace of play was excellent. The greens had recently been sanded and possibly aerated, so they were somewhat rough. Overall, an enjoyable round of golf and I will definitely play here again.

Pace of play was terribly slow. There was a 5-some in front of us (seriously, on a Saturday?). Took 5+ hours to complete the round. A single was playing behind us and kept hitting into us. Serious lack of golf etiquette at this course. I like the course layout, but should never all 5-somes and need marshalls to monitor the pace of play.

Nice course for the money. Fairways in great shape. Greens are okay, a little slow and bumpy but not bad. Pace was quite slow because the course was crowded. Challenging course but open enough to be manageable for the average golfer.
The Pointe Golf Course

Very scenic course with some nice views. Not long, but tight with water on several holes. Fairways were still dormant and had some rough areas. Greens were in great shape and fast with lots of undulations. Greens are hard which took some getting used to on approach shots.
