Esplanade was a new housing development east of Naples and well landscaped. Staff were very nice. Range hit into a lake. Had putting and chipping area.

The course was in good condition, fairways very generous, and they tried to give some undulation, but didn’t live up to my expectation as one of the top new golf courses to play in 2014 . They heavily trapped around greens and You had to have local knowledge to know where to put the ball on the greens, got tired of missing putts I felt I should have had. Wasn’t good enough to want to come back. Lacking in trees as this was cleared for development and houses align every fairway.

If you live there I’m sure you would enjoy it and learn the greens and where to place shots.

We’ve played Tiboron twice before and drove up from staying at Marco to play again. Gold course is interesting, greens were true and in perfect condition. Played 4 some in under 4 hrs. And if you like to shop, they have one of the best stocked pro shops ever..
