The Duke at Rancho El Dorado
Played On 10/14/2019Cart Path Only
The course was in great shape, best I’ve ever seen; however, when we booked with Golf Now, we were not told it was cart path only. I did not see it stated on their website either. Had we known we would not have played, even if it was free. It was a hot day and we are both in our late,70s and it got to be too much to walk in the hot sun. We had to quit before the round was, over.
Merlot/Chardonnay at Poppy Ridge Golf Course
Played On 10/04/2018Excellent Course
Lots of undulating landscape, fierce rough, beautiful scenery. Stay out of the rough and you will be fine. Enjoyed the view of the vineyards. Greens ran true. Enjoyed playing this course.
North at Antelope Hills Golf Course
Played On 05/28/2018Somewhat Challenging
Can be challenging, because it is lined with trees, so you MUST stay in the fairway. We played Memorial Day, so it was a bit stacked up. Not too bad, as we had two in our group that didn't always make the fairway, so we were looking for balls a good deal of the time, but we did stay up with the group in front of us. Played here several times and it doesn't matter what club I use on #16 par 3, I ALWAYS end up in the sand. Guess it's better than landing on someone's head on the 17th tee box (which is right in back of the 16th green). ;)

Always enjoy playing this course. Fairways and greens are in excellent condition. .Had lunch on the patio afterwards and as always, offered homemade cookies, compliments of the chef. Yummy.
Camelback Golf Club - Padre Course
Played On 11/21/2017Not impressed
I booked this course through Golf Now "Hot Deal" I also used $30 in rewards I earned from Golf Now. Granted, it was an awesome deal, but when we drove to our ball on the first hole, the cart would not go on the course. It was then and only then that we found out that it was "cart path only".. It was NOT stated on Golf Now and the Pro Shop did not inform us. The reason I gave Camelback a poor review is because, they should have first informed Golf Now (which they didn't) and they did not inform us. It was totally their responsibility to inform SOMEONE!!!!! I called Golf Now, and they said their is no compensation for reserving a course with a "Cart Path Only enforcement. I stated that I walked the course because I DID. I would rather have had a hand cart.
Also, the greens had just been sanded, so the putting was ridiculous. I believe it is the responsibility of both the course AND Golf Now to inform ANYONE making a reservation to advise them of their "Cart Path Only" and sandy greens.
So, beware next time you reserve a tee time.
Palmer Course at Wildfire Golf Club at Desert Ridge
Played On 05/17/2017Perfect day, perfect course
Couldn't have asked for a better day on the golf course. Got this at a great price with Golf Now Hot Deal. Was a gift to my husband for his birthday. He absolutely loved it. He kept remarking about the condition of the course and how impeccable the fairways and greens were. He scored well and made for a perfect day!
Canyon Lakes Golf Course & Brewery
Played On 12/29/2016Frost delay
I rated this course below average because of the pace of play. I understand frost delay and how it can set you back some, but this day was ridiculous. I think there should have been a starter on the first tee holding players up until the players in front of them were on the green, and then a Marshall controlling the pace of play. We waited on every single hole. No one played well, because there was no flow to the game. It was NOT a fun day at all!!!
SunRidge Canyon Golf Club
Played On 11/13/2016Wicked 6
Loved this course. The reason I rated pace of play a * was because the back nine was so backed up, we were unable to finish the round. We started at 12:30 and we got to hole #17 decided to stop because we were tired of waiting on every hole and knew we would never finish. Aside from that, the course is absolutely beautiful and in meticulous condition. Next time, we will get an earlier starting time. Got a great deal with GolfNow, so was worth playing. Would hate to have paid $100+ and have to wait every hole on the back nine and not finish.
We had dinner on the patio and view was gorgeous. Saw the "Supermoon" rise over the mountains. Awesome!
Oakcreek Country Club
Played On 08/02/2015In the beautiful red rocks of Sedona
Always enjoy playing this course. It creates a serene atmosphere surrounded by the beautiful red rocks of Sedona. The course is always in immaculate condition.
Prescott Golf Club
Played On 05/30/2015Long course with wide fairways
Always enjoy playing Prescott Country Club. The fairways are wide and forgiving, but if you land just off the fairway, the bent grass is hard to swing through. The staff is friendly and always willing to get you on asap. The pace of play is generally very good.
Thank you for the great review! We are glad the staff was great and the fairways were forgiving! We hope to see you back soon.
The Duke at Rancho El Dorado
Played On 04/13/2015Over priced
We got a decent rate on "Hot Deal" on Golf Now. If we had to pay full price, we would have been very disappointed. The course is not quite up to par at the moment! Played there before and it was in better condition.

This is the most beautiful course in Northern Arizona! Period!!!
StoneRidge Golf Course
Played On 04/10/2014Not for beginners
First time I played this course, I absolutely hated it and said I would never come back. Lost every ball in my bag. Went back, played it a second time. Same results. Played it again, then again and again. I love love love this course. You just have to learn where to hit the ball. Example: 2nd hole if you hit straight down the middle, chance are very good that your ball will roll to the right, over the cart path and out of bounds. So many holes are like this, that you need a expert that knows this course and can tell you where to aim. Once you have figured this out, the course is not that difficult. It is in no way a course for beginners.
Elephant Rocks at Williams
Played On 11/8/2013Beautiful Landscape throughout well maintained golf course
My husband and I played this course in November and it was beautifully maintained. The greens were perfect. Not too fast and not to slow. The atmosphere was so serene surrounded by pine trees. The fairways were wide and forgiving. We absolutely love this course.
Fun little course, but SLOW! SLOW! SLOW!
Would recommend spreading out the starting times, maybe. Whatever it takes because it was so stacked up, impossible to get in a groove and focus on your game. If you just want to go out and be sociable with strangers (like the foursome in front of you) this is the course for you!
We are always a little slow on Holidays, but this Memorial Day kept pretty close to 4 hours.
