Chanced a hot deal out here even though other reviews warned of slow play. I should’ve listened bc the pace was almost unbearable and we didn’t finish all 18 before darkness. They didn’t even have enough carts for golfers! And tee times were 20 mins behind with nobody patrolling anything. Don’t waste your time and money here. Too bad bc the layout was great (greens were true but slow).

If you like Championship Golf, then this is the layout for you! Tips out at 6800 yards, lots of hazards, doglegs, OB, etc. Better bring your A-game! It’s currently really dry conditions though and needs water badly. It’s been hot and dry lately so maybe a few good rains will help. I didn’t see a single sprinkler going. This place could be the best course in all of MD if it was lush and green. Off the course amenities are top notch. Nice range, putting green, halfway house with food and drinks, and a super friendly staff. Final verdict, Swan Point is a 5 star experience, but currently a 4 due to super dry conditions. Play well!

Beaufort Club has the best driving range in Carteret County and range balls are unlimited and included with your round of golf. A nice bonus feature here for sure. One certainly needs to make sure their swing is intact at the range before heading to the 1st tee because the course is possibly the most difficult in the area as well. Several sets of tees to choose from but if you think your good like me you’ll tip it out and face forced carries all day long and test every club in your bag on a gorgeous but penalizing course that is almost guaranteed to be windy!

Greens are in great shape for March. A lot of bare lies tee to green, but it’s early in the season. I love how this course always plays firm and fast. Always a good choice to play here.

I’ve seen better conditions out there but the layout is still worth the price of play, one of my favorite tracks in the area!

They only have 9 holes open so they told me to just play them twice for 18, they even have a makeshift scorecard for the open holes. It was 5 on the front and 4 on the back. Lots of driving between holes on their temporary course. The other holes didn’t look to be opening any time soon. As for the holes that were playable, slightly better than average conditions at best. And there is no putting green and the driving range is 100 yards long. Until this place has 18 holes again, it is not worth your time. Several better choices in the area.

Solid 18 hole layout where each hole is its own. No missing a fairway to end up in another. I really enjoyed this unique layout. Fairways were firm and fast. Greens rolled true but could be a little bit faster. I played in the afternoon and they were a little hairy. Biggest knock was a few of the back tees had little to no grass. Was teeing off dirt on several holes. All that nit picking I still give it 4 stars and for the price is certainly one of the best values in the area. No doubt about it, I'll be back.
