One of my favorite courses in DFW but this round put a bad taste in my mouth due to the greens being extremely slow and poor setup of the pins. Not handing out Scorecards b/c of Covid was annoying and the flags/pins are the metal kind in the hole where the ball bounces out unless you perfectly die the ball in the hole. I've played several other courses during the pandemic and Tribute's pins have been the worst. We played that if the ball hit the pin, it was good. For the money, they need to speed up the greens and fix the pin situation. Rest of the course was in great shape and the staff was very friendly.

One of our go-to courses in DFW (and I've played quite a few of them), greens are fast and immaculate, always have a good time at Pecan.

Enjoyed this resort course despite it being 100 degrees when we played. Pace of play was fantastic for an 8am Sat morning round. Finished in 3.5 hrs. Greens and fairways were in great shape. If you are staying at the OVI this course is a must play. GolfNow has it for cheaper than going through the resort.

Played 36 in a day for my first time out to the crossings. Can't beat a $35 Saturday replay rate. Course was in fantastic shape. Fairways are tight on some holes. Greens were running at an average to quick speed. Lots of driving in between holes which allows you to view the scenery around you. Staff was very friendly, new/huge clubhouse, fully stocked booze/snack bar located conveniently to stop in at the turn. Only downside is no carts in the parking lot, had to lug my bag to my car after playing 36 but no biggie. Give it an A all around, will definitely be back.

Very tough course. 1 of 5 we played over a long buddies golf trip wkend. Had to play it as a bucket lister. Lots of water and bunkers that didn't make it any easier. Course was in great shape but not as pristine as when you watch the tour players come through it at the beginning of the year. Bring your A game!

Course was in excellent condition all around. Can play tougher if you aren't in the fairway, desert conditions surround the lush fairway and perfect greens. Played Norman round #5 of a long golf trip weekend and this was my 2nd favorite course, don't pass it up!

Course was in fantastic shape all around. Tripled 18 to shoot 77, won't forget this round! Don't pass up a chance to play both tracks at Desert Willow!

Loved playing this course. Immaculate condition all the way around. Favorite of the 5 courses we played over a long buddies trip golf weekend. Don't pass this track up in Palm D.

Overall good track. Greens make it above average, roll nicely. Fairways are in decent shape for this time of year. Pace of play can be an issue, 5 hr.+ round on Sunday afternoon but that is common to me these days. Good value of a course for the money, especially in LA on a weekend. Will keep coming back to Knollwood CC.

Fun course. Not as challenging as others noted in my opinion. Dry this time of year so fast conditions. Fast undulating greens that reward a properly placed approach shot. Wide open fairways, hard to miss them. Were in good shape but better in the spring after they green up a bit. Pace of play was great for a Friday afternoon. Great value for the money. All staff encounters were very friendly and helpful. Mats only day on the driving range which was annoying. Will be back to RCGC.

Immaculate course. Greens, fairways, views, pace of play - all 5 stars. Lots of water, practically every hole, bring your A game.

Fantastic all around experience. Course was in great shape, friendly staff, didn't wait on any tee box, really enjoyed it and would come back.

Pros: Greens and fairways were in great shape. Great pace of play for a Sun morning, didn't have to wait on many tees. Bev cart gal was super friendly and came around several times. Got a good deal on Golfnow for a Sun round.
Cons: Short course if you like that kind of thing. Did not have to hit the driver often. Several blind shots and some significant dog legs. Restaurant very busy with Sun brunch, took forever to grab a hot dog at the turn.
Overall - like the course and the facility, will be back for sure.

PROS:
Friendly staff - Both pro shop guys were great. Allowed me to move my tee time up 30 minutes and very friendly.
Driving range and putting/chipping green - Always good to have these 3 at a course. Not all do..
Greens - In fantastic shape. Not too slow, not too fast, just right.
Cost - Got a great deal on Golfnow for an early Sat. afternoon round.
Views - Great 360 degree views, course on a very nice piece of property.
CONS:
Fairways - Needs water and TLC. Very dry with minimal green "lush" spots.
Pace of play - Group in front of us took their sweet a** time all day long. Need marshals to assist is driving the pace.
Food/Drinks - Tried to order food at the turn and the grill had closed at 3:30pm on a Sat due to a wedding that evening. Only saw the cart gal once early on in the round. Guess she went home early.. C'mon man!
All and all - Average overall experience, will be back after some rain lushes up the fairways. 5+ hr round.

Solid track all around. Course in great condition. Green fairways and nice rolling greens. Friendly staff. Nice driving range and putting/chipping area. Played almost all the OC courses and this one is a top 3 on my list. Got a teeoff.com deal that made this round even juicier. Will definitely be back.

Got a solid twilight deal to play the course while staying at the RBI. Only 65$ after 2pm on the course booking website. Every staff member we encountered were very friendly. Small driving range that is shared by the RBI and country club next door but it got the job done on the warm up. Also small putting green but got to roll a few before kicking off the round. Course was in very good shape, fairways, greens, rough. The amount of beers consumed led to a rougher than usual round for me but I would definitely recommend this course for the price we paid. Enjoyed it!

What a gem. This is a 9 hole short par 3/par 4 course located at The Ranch at Laguna Beach. No need to use a cart, rather try a pull cart and take a nice stroll through this canyon course. Greens and fairways in great shape, large landing areas. Course can get crowded so expect a slow pace of play. Perfect for beginner golfers and letting the significant other tag along. Paid 32$ for a twilight round which I'd call a good deal in Orange County. Beautiful patio area to enjoy cocktails before/after the round. Love this course and resort.

Enjoyed a great round at SBF. Greens were pristine and fast. Fairways in great shape. Tight landing areas on most holes. Played with a buddy in 4 hours, no one around us like we had the course to ourselves. Friendly staff. Got a golfnow hot deal, definitely the way to go. Big driving range and nice restaurant with a large wrap around patio to grub before or after your round. No GPS on carts was the only downside. Will be back to SBF.

First time playing Talega. Really enjoyed it. Fairways were in good shape and so were the greens. Greens were sticky and rolling slow but I've played on far far worse. Bunkers were not all in good shape but if you stay out of them then you don't have to worry about it right? Layout is great, moderate difficulty, could be a tougher course if you aren't on your A game. Pro shop guys were friendly, didn't see a cart girl till the last hole but we started at 7am. Paid $14 for a single vodka drink at the turn, seems a bit steep to me but so be it... Must be a limited amount of carts, played as a single and the starter wouldn't give me a cart of my own and stated it was "an extra 30$" to request that. Hmm.
Shrugged it off but odd to me requiring you to ride with a stranger but made some new friends so all good. Birdied 18 to shoot 79! Till next time Talega.
