Windermere Golf Club
Played On 10/16/2018Lakeland delight
We visited 2 days after torrential rain and found the course perfectly playable. You need to think your way around this course - always allowing yourself to take in the stunning views all around. A fabulous day out.
Glen Gorse Golf Club

We arrived a little early, reported in to the pro shop and got an excellent friendly welcome. We were expected and he even suggested we went out a little earlier to get off before a couple of 4 balls. This simple courtesy meant my wife and I had a very pleasant evenly paced round. Catering staff very pleasant and accommodating also .
Highlands Reserve Golf Club

First time out and starter made us a three. Good course to open the shoulders on the tee! Greens big and reasonably quick. Some big bunkers but no water. We followed a 4 but pace reasonable - 4 hours. Give it a go.

Windermere Country Club

Failed to spot when booking it was an overseeding day so only front nine available to play! Staff good, cart tired, holes we played we enjoyed and a nice layout.
Providence Golf Club

Good layout but VERY slow greens. Pace was great for first nine as no one in front of us but then caught others up and then waited every shot. Seems to be the norm over here sadly.
Thank you soo much for taking the time to leave us a review. Our greens team have done a fantastic job this year with the course in great shape. We’re blessed with USGA spec greens and a course built on natural stone allowing fantastic drainage/recovery times even after periods of heavy rain as experienced before your visit.
