Played On 08/10/2014Sad to see this facility go downhill
Though this is an excellent Pete Dye layout, due to financial issues, this clubs facilities have been steadily deteriorating over the past few years. This includes the clubhouse, driving range, the many railroad tie structures, concrete cart paths. and more. The driving range balls were old, unwashed, and expensive. there were few yardage markers, (a few numbers on sprinkler heads and 150 poles in center of fairways) nor laser reflectors (tape or glass inserts on the flagsticks) and no hole depictions on the scorecard or on signs at the tees. I would have to agree with his assesment. The course was unique for the Phoenix area, being situated on a mountainside

Played On 8/31/2012A Castle Rock treasure.
A great public course. Fits the terrain of the area. The practice green is rather small and there is no real area to practice the short game.
