St. Johns Golf & Country Club
Played On 03/13/2015The Best
During our golf trip we played all the highest rated courses in the area. By far our experience here was nothing less of amazing. The green are the best, fast and roll true. The bunkers, tee boxes, fairways, boxes are impeccable. It doesn't get much better then St.John's place period.
The Club at Savannah Harbor
Played On 03/11/2015Drive from anywhere to play this course!!
We stopped here to play on our golf trip to Jacksonville and this place is spectacular! It's very forgiving and wide open on most holes. Down right amazing!!!!!
Regents' Glen Country Club
Played On 10/14/2014A must play
One of the nicest courses in York County and the green look like they have never been played on. The roll true and everything is spot on with this course.
Monroe Valley Golf Course
Played On 04/01/2014Play it, you will not regret it!
Great course to play if you have not already. This was my second time and the layout is both challenging for all skill sets and forgiving for the slicer. Play it, you will not regret it! Greens roll true, fairways are perfect, and just one tee box needs some help (it's early yet).
Mayapple Golf Links
Played On 8/6/2013Excellent Food, and Course
Mayapple provides a great open course to challenge your game and mine as well. Everything is in excellent condition including tee boxes, fairways, traps, and greens. After you complete your round you MUST eat their as well. The wings are banging and I experienced a world class burger. The menu is solid with even vegetarian items. If your in the area, stop by play this with your boys or girls.
Chesapeake Bay Golf Club at North East
Played On 5/28/2013Awesome course layout, needs work
First of all, Brian in the Pro Shop is first class. Super nice and helpful to say the least. We played this course after it rained. The views are awesome and you are one with nature. We saw deer which was cool. The greens are in perfect shape, but bunkers where the worse I can remember. They are filled with rocks which I'm not sure why. The tee boxs are flat and could used mowed but wasn't that big of a deal. We drove and hour and 30 minutes to play and probably will pay one more time this year. You need to be a straight hitter as the fairways are tight.
Dauphin Highlands Golf Course
Played On 5/21/2013AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Everything from the starter, to the course in is pristine condition. The green roll true and not super fast. The tee box's are level and flat which I love personally. This is seriously one of the best course's I have played in the area. For the price, you just can't be it here. This is a MUST PLAY for any true golf enthusiast. I played this course two years ago and was turned off by the quality, they are under new management and now it is the way it is suppose to be. PERFECT!
North/West at South Hills Golf Club
Played On 5/13/2013Great place, awesome times
What I enjoyed was the option to play 27 holes, and the island green was super fun to hit at on the West Course. This course will challenge even the low handicap and is a must play in the area.
Pilgrim's Oak Golf Course
Played On 5/11/2013The BEST Course in the area hands down!!
I play MANY different course in the area and so far in 2013, this is the BEST overall course I have played. Everything is in pristine shape and I look at - tee boxes, bunkers, greens, fairways, and ruff. The greens roll true as well. You have to put this course on your list this year to pay, it is worth an hour drive at least to enjoy with your friends.
Stepped their game up
As the sister cource to Heritage Hills, Springwood had been in decline over the last couple of years. Over the past year and a half they have really made it nice again. The greens roll true but are a bit slow. This is a very challenging course from the blues and even the 8 and under handicap should play from
the whites. This course will kick your butt and spit you back out. Really enjoy playing it now, give it a try!
