Creek/Oaks at Temecula Creek Inn Golf Resort
Played On 08/17/2021Great Course, Terrible Bunkers
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE MAINTAIN THE BUNKERS!!
The entire course is in great condition, but the bunkers haven't been touched in weeks. Two foot weeds, grass, pine needles, etc. The sand is good quality, but it's all for nothing if they aren't maintained. Another annoying factor was all the grass clippings on the greens. Invest in a mower that doesn't leave a mess all over the greens.
Also, literally nobody walks this course, so why only list the walking rate on GolfNow.com? It's deceiving and can easily be overlooked.
Driving range was closed until 9am, which really sucked. Not sure if this is normal, or if it was closed for maintenence. Either way, it's not ideal for those wanting to play early.
Overall, very nice course with high end golf carts and GPS.
TCI, PLEASE MAINTAIN THE BUNKERS.
Skylinks Golf Course
Played On 01/09/2021Decent, but not worth the money.
Not what you would expect for an $80 weekend green fee. Greens were not mowed or rolled and bumpy, tee boxes were spotty, at best, and there are virtually no yardage markers on the course. The best you will find are a few sprinkler heads that are marked. No 150 or 100 yard markers. No more GPS on the carts. The driving range faces directly into the sun in the morning, so the people paying the highest green fees get the worst range experience. No practice greens were available. No rakes for the bunkers (I assume because of covid). I play 2-3 times a week and this course is only worth $60 on the weekend, at most.

This place still hasn't figured out how to water the course. If you play before 8:00am, you will be fighting the sprinklers all round. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens all being watered while trying to play. Wrong color flags on the greens, maintenance in the way. Clueless management. Otherwise, a good track and usually in decent shape, but not pristine by any stretch. Staff is not that friendly. Good practice area, but you never know if you need to buy tokens in the shop or at the range.

Didn't expect much for an executive course under $20, but this was worst than expected. Checked in about 40 minutes early for an 11:50 tee time and they were already running 30 minutes behind. The issue was carts. Not sure why that would be an issue. They should know how many carts are available before they advertise tee times with carts. The guy working in the shop was rude. I asked for a free bucket of range balls since we had to wait so long and he refused. Unreal. I bought a bucket anyways. The range was decent, but I was hitting balls over the back fence with a hybrid. No sign telling not to use woods. There is a tee box behind the netting and seems very unsafe. It was littered with range balls. Course was in bad shape and played EXTREMELY SLOW. Our cart needed to be pushed during the last two holes on a nine hole course. Ridiculous. The yardages were totally changed from what is on the scorecard. One par 4 was now a short par 3. Other holes had no yardage posted and had to guess. Greens were slow, as expected. Dude at the bar was cool. Don't come here.
