Tucked away in the north east corner of Illinois, this is a links style course that is in excellent shape and a joy to play. Worth the ride!

One of the few links style courses in northern Illinois. Nice welcome change of pace from other traditional courses. I would play it again.

MaKray still remains the most challenging course in the northwest suburbs, especially with the extremely fast greens and pin placements. The greens were ridiculously fast; possibly due to a lack of water. Being on the wrong side of the pin was almost impossible. The course is in good condition. I recommend the course if you want the ultimate challenge. Every hole is a challenge. It definitively is not a walk in the park!

Course is rounding into shape from the cold spring. Disappointing fee for cart rental. Golf Now Hot Deal rate was great but a $20.00 cart fee defeats the purpose, especially for a senior rate.

Played a day after much rain. The course has excellent drainage and you would have not know it had rained. Course is still in early spring condition but improving each week.

Very windy day. Grass is still dormant. Give two weeks and it should be rounding into shape.

Course opened a week ago. Greens are slow and recently fertilized. Give two weeks and it should be in good shape

The greens fees are to be expected for a vacation location. You get the convenience of not having to leave the island to play. For the money, however, you would expect better tee box grooming, ball washers, and greens not burnt out. Looks are more in line with an overplayed public course.

Course is well designed. Experience was detracted by parent bringing a four year old on the course who putted on each green.

They are not lying when they say the course is long. Your driver is your friend on this course along with the friendly fairways. The greens are red hot and play true. This is definitely a course you need to experience.
