So close to being really nice

Greens are in great shape, but were in need of being cut.... like the rest of the course. We’ve had a good bit of rain lately but you have to be able to cut the grass in adverse conditions if you’re going to run a golf course and let people play. This course is a little elbow grease away from being worth every bit of $45-$55. No water jugs on the course. I’ve heard that is from vandalism but a $5 lock could fix that pretty dang good easily. Last complaint, there was a 5 some on the course and another group that played their second 18 and jumped right in front of us before teeing off.

Terrible shape - Terrible value

The course was in terrible shape. Fairways were soggy and a complete pain to play off of. The greens were some of the worst greens I have ever played on. Diseased and bumpy.. extremely inconsistent. This is most definitely not worth the $45 cost. I would MAYBE pay $20 to play here. I hope they are planning on renovating the greens ASAP. I understand it is just now warming up but I have played 4 other courses this year that cost the same or less than this in the past month that are 10x nicer. A beer off the cart was $6! This is not a Braves game! After paying to get in the park, paying $45 to play a terrible course, that was icing on the cake.

Staff was very friendly as normal. That's about the only good thing I have to say.

Great course for the money

This was my first time at mystery valley and I was very impressed by the course. It was pretty challenging with a lot of narrow fairways and lots of hilly/slanted areas that you must take into consideration when placing your shots. They greens were in good shape but almost too fast in my opinion. The clubhouse is pretty run down but they have everything you need so I guess I cant complain too much. The carts were in great shape and had plenty of juice to get around the course in a timely manor. I'll be back for sure!

Great until rain

We only got through 5 due to rain but we had a good time grabbing some food and beer after. The manager seemed to be very apprehensive. He tried giving us a rain check for basically 50 cents a hole. I said that was unacceptable and he ended up giving us a rain check for a little more but still under a buck a hole. A little unreasonable if you ask me. He then apologized for his short temper stating it was due to the fact that he had been there since 6 AM (not my problem). I will definitely be going back to finish my round. Other that the uppity manager, it was very enjoyable.

Great course & alligator spotting is a plus.

We really enjoyed this course. It was a great value and the conditions were awesome. There was a hold up at the 1st tee box BUT they had a chipping/putting green right next to it so it really was not an issue at all. We definitely will be playing there again. The club house did not seem to have a selection of food at all which was kind of annoying but that's just a minor inconvenience. To make up for that, two bottled waters are in each cooler on each cart, for free. That was a nice accommodation. As a bonus/scare... there was an alligator right by one of the tee boxes. It did not bother us and it was kind of neat to see. To some that may be a scare though.

Its a maze out there.

The staff was great and helpful from the get-go. After realizing there was 10 people on the 1st tee box, I decided to play the back 9 first. I cant begin to explain how confusing the layout of that course is. The map on the score card is not accurate and some holes are in completely different locations. You have to use the same cart path for 3 holes in some areas. There is little to no markings on the cart paths to specify where to go for the next hole (since it is not at all a normal layout). I will not be returning to the course. The tee boxes also were not cut.

Great way to spend a Saturday

Everything was great with the exception of the noises and distractions of the rest of the park. I definitely will return!

Ok for the price, poor staff

After some car issues, I walk into the clubhouse ready to go right at my tee time. The old man gives me grief and then takes literally 8 minutes to check me and my buddy out. We get to the tee box and the ranger has no clue what he is doing. After we (and the other two-some he decided to pair us up with) tee-off, we get told by the guys ahead of us that someones tee shot hit one of them in the foot since the ranger had no clue what he was doing. After that, the groups spaced out pretty well and it was better. The course is incredibly unforgiving. You miss a put on one hole and it literally can end up 30 yards away from the TEE BOX. I love a challenge but when it is impossible to keep a ball on the green because the slope is so much that is ridiculous.

Great place for 9 holes after work.

Great course for some after work fun. They could use some better cart path direction on the first hole. Being my first time there, I had no clue where to go for the 2nd hole. Also could use some higher nets on the right side of the range, balls are all over hole 1. I had 2 land within 15 ft of me while on the green.

Great place

Went here with 3 buddies of mine, 2 of which have not played in years. We all had a great time, the course was very challenging but forgiving enough that my friends that were rusty still had a lot of fun. I would recommend coming up short of greens rather than crush the ball with a long iron if you have the option. A lot of the greens have huge drop-offs on the other sides and are pretty fast so play it safe.

There was a line to tee off but the staff gave us two buckets of balls to hit the range with to kill some time (free of charge). Lunch at the turn was cheap as well, cheapest clubhouse food I have come across (very filling though). I will definitely be going back, this is a great place!
