Great condition, friendly staff, love playing here, would love the option of playing Lakes front nine and Dunes back nine

Horrible pace of play, 7 minute tee times has got to go, no marshal seen at any time. Worst of all was the shape of the greens. Perhaps a class on how not to drag one’s feet or how to fix ball marks? This place is WAY to crowded in the winter, will wait until the temp climbs above 90 before returning

Love the layout. The course appears to still be recovering from Ian. The bunkers.need ALOT of work, Fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. However, will wait until spring or summer to return

By the staff’s own honest and appreciated admission that due some most unfortunate maintenance staffing issues the course conditions are currently suffering greatly. Was assured that the newest management team was aware of the issues, especially the greens conditions, and will be addressed. But by my observations I would guess waiting until next summer rates and improved conditions would be wise

Great layout, plush cart seats, very friendly staff. However, would like to see the greens in better condition, was a bit bumpy. Also, firmer would be nice as well. Putting green was in rough shape. Small observations that would not prevent a return trip. Thanks.

Nice layout, excellent greens, a few tee boxes in rough shape but staff did inform us beforehand. Looking forward to returning before summer rates disappear,.

Course in good condition despite the lack of rain, however the greens need quite a bit of work as there are serious fungus issues on most of the edges. Would like to see more if cross cut pattern on the greens. Love the contrast of the front and back nines. Will continue to play

Love the Dunes layout. Have played here for many years and have always enjoyed it. Especially now that the clubhouse restrooms are fixed!

Firstly, the course gets a pass for lack of rain and the holiday weekend. Having said that, the course was a big disappointment. The overall course conditions were terrible. The bunkers were largely gravel and some moldy water puddles and the edging was horrible. The blue tee boxes were mostly weeds and very little turf. The bunker and tee box maintenance schedule must have fallen to the wayside or given up on. One of saving grades were that the greens weren’t punched yet. And for what the course charges, 2 guys behind us playing in baggies and tank tops!! Was surprised that was tolerated. Sorry, but will not be back until reports of significant positive changes are made.

Was told on the 20th that greens would be punched with very small tines, that was completely incorrect as we found out after paying what we all thought was more than fair given the greens conditions. However that all pales in comparison to the pace of play. The 9:24 couple in front of the rest of us apparently never, EVER, heard of course etiquette as they appeared to be completely unconcerned as a twosome in holding up several groups behind them. The problem was compounded by horrible marshaling. When marshal was notified of the problem before the turn, the request to inform the couple of the hold up they were creating was completely ignored as the problem continued to the 18th hole. The couple must own the course. Hope this type of issue is noted and better handled in the future. Will be back when the greens recover

5 hour round with a 11:45 tee time, no Marshall. . Bunkers all need sand refreshing. Can’t recommend at the current rate. Hopefully summer rates will arrive soon

Only real positive is that the greens are returning. Chewed up tee box’s, lumpy fairways and abysmal cart paths still need the same attention as the greens. Do realize that the course is in a construction mode but the days rate doesn’t justify the current course conditions given plenty of other options in the area. This place is off our rotation until much better reviews are read or heard of

Holes 1thru 6 were nice, got us excited for the rest. Wrong!! 7 thru 18 greens should be completely redone. Primarily dirt with some fungus thrown in. Un-puttable. A real shame, played here many times in the past and like the layout. Will not be back until glowing reports emerge. A couple of seasons most likely

Was warned by staff day before arrival about bad fairways and ok greens. When we arrived was shocked that anybody would play here. Dirt driving range, dirt fairways, zero grass. Bunkers were a disgrace. Greens looked as if the staff found some green paint and said, this will work! It doesn’t. Wouldn’t play here for free. Can’t possibly recommend this place to play.

If I was in charge of this place, the entire rest of my budget will go into the course maintenance. The course conditions can only fairly be called a dog patch. The greens should destroyed and completely rebuilt. The course must only own one mower it appears that one is broken as the course is way, way over grown. To be fair, the area has seen alot of rain lately, but the grass wasn’t being mowed way before the term lately. The membership there should be outraged, unless they have never played anywhere else. Sorry La Cita, will not return.

Red side greens unsatisfactory. Red side pace of play good. Went to Blue side almost 3 hours. No visible Marshal to help speed up play. Unhappy with the changes to Blue #4. Hopefully plan to redirect cart path. What’s with the giant zit on Blue #3 left side?
