Played On 10/16/2023A Disservice to the Layout
What once used to be a really nice, well maintained course is now among the worst I’ve seen. As other reviewers have mentioned, the fairways are just hard packed dirt, many of the traps are overgrown & washed out , and the tee boxes are just weeds. What a shame and a waste of an interesting and unique plot of land. The greens were nice and clearly the only aspect of the course that has been maintained. The staff is terrific and I felt bad for them having to explain away the neglect towards the course.
Wait for new management or ownership before playing here.

The Raven is in spectacular condition. The greens are as good as I’ve ever seen at the Raven in over 10 years. Friendly staff too.

Really fun course that is in fantastic condition. My only suggestion is to add more than just 1 water fountain on each side. And we never saw the snack/drink cart.

The Timber Links at Denton

This course will challenge you with blind shots, lots of elevation changes, and tight fairways. This course is definitely favors accuracy over distance. It's a fun 9-hole layout through the woods and it took me less than 3 hours to play 18.
The course is set near an apartment complex but most holes are through the woods and it doesn't seem like you're playing on an apartment property. It's a good value and the pro is willing to help with course tips if asked. There's no practice facility, just a putting green.
Wedgewood Golf Course
Played On 07/17/2013Challenging course from tips and requires great accuracy off tee. Great condition
For a Houston course, Wedgewood has a lot of elevation changes and some blind shots. Miss the fairway and you're likely in the trees chipping out or you're in one if many water hazards. The course is in great shape and is a terrific value too.
