The staff was welcoming. The course and setting were outstanding.
The only reason the day wasn’t perfect was of a 9 hole tournament group in front of us. We caught up to their rear group at the 4th hole and half stepped until they parked their carts after the 9th hole. Just unfortunate timing……We flew through the back nine.

It was bumping 100 degrees so there weren’t many other golfers out there which made it very nice.
The staff were very helpful and respectful.

We were just a twosome going off at 11am. Had a twonsome behind us but never saw another golfer until we ran up on a foursome at 16. Very nice staff.

Other than having the Starter have our twosome wait for a foursome to get everything together and wander to the first tee, everything went well. We just went around the foursome on the second hole and never had to wait again.Just a little over 3 hours.

On the first hole our twosome found ourselves behindwo minutes to finish the first hole, we found this twosome barely off the second tee, so we drove to them and asked kindly of we could go around them. They apologized and said yes, and that’s the last time we waited on anyone until the 18th hole. So it turned into a pretty quick round.
We did get confused where the right dog leg 9th, and the right dogleg 18th come together. They are both over water and I hit an approach towards the 18th while playing the 9th!
Nice greens.

Fairly high winds were in the forecast, but didn't materialize. I suppose there were a lot fewer golfers there because of that, but for whatever reason, we started off as a twosome, and played the whole course without ever having someone any closer in front, or behind us, than two holes. Great day!

Tougher to play the first round because of not knowing how far hazards extended onto the fairways on certain shots. Very hot, but still enjoyable. Cold water was necessary and available out on the course.

Beautiful day. Upper 80s for temperature. Hardly anybody else on the course. Never once waited at a t-box.
