Wow - so many blind second shots on this golf course due to a severely hilly layout. Even with extra long flags, approach shots are a guess at best. Tiny greens are in good condition but again, your blind approach to a tiny green just isn't fair. I'll pass next time I'm invited.

In from out of town - rented a nice set of Titleist clubs but received them filthy. Sand caked on wedges, hadn't been cleaned in quite some time. Bunkers were rock hard and lots of areas of standing water due to sprinkler issues (leaks I suppose). Was paired with a nice guy from the area who offered local knowledge. Unfortunately, neither of us knew we'd get stuck behind a foursome of party boys who had no clue how to golf or what golf course etiquette meant. Front desk seemed irritated in even helping me. Won't be coming back here on my next visit.

1 hour north of the twin cities, this coarse is worth checking out. Bent grass fairways, well maintained fringes and approaches make putting from the fringe a definite possibility. Greens fast and true - very well kept. Nice bonus is a caddies book given to each group before heading out. Knowledgeable and super-friendly pro-shop personnel! Will be coming back for sure.
