The greens and tea boxes of Forest Glen are always in fantastic condition, even in summer. Compared to other local courses the conditions are very good. The layout is interesting, with plenty of challenge, although you probably wouldn’t want to get your driver out too much!

A course which really punches above its weight. If you play on the back tees there is plenty of length, plus the greens are great. All in all a really good course and great value if you play at the right time.

This is a superb course. While other courses were cart path only after quite a lot of rain, there were barely any areas that were other than perfectly playable on this course. The layout is one of the best I have played - it is an Arnold Palmer design and has everything - beautiful holes, placement, length etc. There is something here for everyone. I would say relatively tough for a high handicapper, but a good challenge for mid to low. The only item that the top courses do have is GPS on the carts, which hasn't found its way here yet. Very nice amenities and cart guys/pro shop all pleasant and helpful. All in all a special experience, out of the ordinary compared to many local courses. If you like Jack Nicklaus type layouts, you'll love this.

Course was refurbished I think a couple of years ago. Terrific layout with difficult but very well kept greens. Drainage excellent. I would recommend this course highly - it is a fantasy design with plenty of challenge and interest- nice bar etc too!

The course is kept in nice condition generally. Greens were rolling well and fairways in good shape. I wish there were more holes where you needed to get a driver out - we were off the rear tees and there were a lot of 230 type tee shots to play and very few that encouraged the big stick. Whenever I play here, the pace of play is an issue and can really spoil the round of golf. It could be helped with a course Marshall hurrying things up or letting others through, but there wasn’t even a starter present - we had a clash of tee time. Overall a good experience, but I do wish they would do something with the pace of play.
