Greens roll smooth and true to be so late in the season and with all the rain they has fallen. It’s a fun course to play when looking for something different. Multiple par 4s that take driver out of your hand.

Technically we are still in winter here in a Texas and the recent rains in February did a number on many courses and it may not e fair to give such mediocre rating, but this course was one of favorites to play, but when we get several inches of rain, this is a course to avoid until it has a chance to dry out. It’s been a few weeks since the last big rains and the course is still very wet around the greens and most traps are mud holes. I know it’s temporary, but I would hold off playing for a few weeks.

Greens are smooth and quick, as you would expect this time of the year with dormant Bermuda greens. Very few straight putts, as the undulations are highlighted with the quickness. My only complaint is that course should look to upgrade their traps to a more granular sand around the greens. Been playing this course since 2006 and seen it change management hands a few times, but the past 3 yrs, you can count on healthy greens year round and a challenging round.

Course in good shape considering the cold February we experienced. Greens are healthy and receptive. The roll smooth, but are slower than usual, most likely due to the wet weather and lack of sunshine of late. Don't let this discourage you from playing a good course. Just want you to know what to expect.

First time playing this course. The greens are fast and I dont think there is a flat spot on any of them.
This course has potential. The greens were healthy and roll true. There are some quirky holes in the layout but it adds character. I think a replay for me next spring would be needed to access if progress is truly being made in reviving this course. For the price, you wont be disappointed. Plusher fairways and tee boxes would make this a regular play for me.

Good layout. Greens are in good shape and well maintained. The only thing that needs attention or drawback is some of the tee boxes are bare.

I can't seem to avoid the aerated greens lately, but the greens still rolled true, just little sandy. Should be in great shape in 10 days. Rest of the course is healthy. Some tough holes to keep you humble but very enjoyable to play

One of the few courses in N. Tx that has bent grass greens. Very healthy and true. Greens and most of the course is 5 star rating, except some bunkers are in process of restoration and currently ground under repair...mudholes. Definitely a must play course!

Unfortunately, I played the day after they aerated the greens. They were slow and sandy, which is understandable. Wish I had known before booking on Golfnow. This is valuable information to avid golfers, so my hope is that I can at least prepare other planning to play in the next 7-10 days. The practice green had been aerated the previous week and filled in nicely already, just a little sand grains present and just awaiting to be cut down. I think by the end of next week would be more ideal conditions. The rest of the course is looking good and this course is always a treat to play.

Greens are slow and slightly bumpy. They are aerating Tuesday 6/3/14 which is several weeks behind other courses in the area. Suggest you wait 2-3 weeks before playing, unless you like sandy greens. The rest of the course is in good condition.

Quick and smooth greens. The fairways are still few weeks from being plush but are good.

These big greens will test your putting. They are rolling about 9/10 and very smooth. The course is probably 2-3 weeks from having plush fairways.

Greens in great shape considering the winter we had. They have not been punched yet but told that is scheduled 1st week of April. Fairways still dormant and firm but weeks from being ideal.

This course offers a little of everything, no 2 holes alike. Great price for a well maintained course. Greens are always in good shape. Blue tees will challenge your game

Overall rating would normally be Excellent, but unfortunately they had just punched the greens and top sand the day prior 5/6/13.
Go in 2 weeks and this course will be close to pristine (especially greens) the layout is very fun with a handful of challenging holes ie..meaty par 4's. The greens are normally some of the best rolling in the metroplex...usually around 9/10 on speed but very true. You will not be disappointed! It's in my top 5 to play here in the Dallas area.
