Good 9 hole course

A nice 9 hole course. Easy to walk with some good holes. Conditions were fine except for the 2nd green which had some turf loss. No problem with pace as I was the first one off. Good choice for a quick 9 or more as the replay rate is even less.

Good for a quick 9

A good course for a quick 9. Layout is a bit quirky with three par 3's in the first four holes, then back to back 5's in the middle. Greens are generally small. Some of the holes are very tight, not a course a good player will need to hit driver. Nice large driving range hitting good balls off of grass. No problem with pace as I was first off. The person cutting the greens didn't replace the flag in two of the holes.

Nice facility

Nice facility, with two 18's and a 9, easy to get tee times. Very easy course to walk and in good shape. Greens are a bit on the slow side for my liking but in good shape. This was our second round of the day and the replay rate is fantastic.

Great courses in great shape

Took advantage of a $50 weekday special they offered. Tees and fairways are excellent, greens used to be perfect years ago before they allowed the Poa anua to creep in. They are still very good although golfers need to fix their ball marks. They could use some cart path repairs in some spots. The spring rain and cool weather has allowed the rough to grow like crazy and they seem to be having a hard time keeping up with it. 4 inch rough was the norm most of the day and with no step cut a ball just a foot off the fairway can be in some heavy stuff. Most greens have multiple tiers so putting the ball in the wrong place can leave you with a very difficult putt. The three nines can cause an issue on your second 9 start if groups aren't on pace. In our case a group coming of Lakes got in between us and the group we were behind on Meadows causing a 10 minute delay. Very large driving range using both grass (weekends) and mats, a bucket of 35 balls is included in the greens fee. Multiple putting greens and a short game area. For what you get it is one of the top daily fee courses around.

Fun 9 holes

A fun quick nine holes. Just a par 34 with three par 3's and just one par five but it's a good one. Two of the par 3's were on the longer side and the short one has water in play. Greens had multiple tiers but were slow. A couple of short par 4's but they are doglegs. Tees and fairways were a bit weedy and on the high side. The white and blue 9 are much longer and more challenging.

A few quirky holes.

A decent enough course but not someplace I'd run back to. Some difficult holes with elevation changes and some narrow landing areas. A few nice views. Conditions were just average, tees and fairways were a bit weedy and on the high side and the greens on the slow side. Someone was doing some shooting nearby which was distracting. Small 6 mat driving range and a decent putting and chipping green with a bunker. Restaurant had good food at good prices.

Enjoyable day

We really enjoyed our day here. Grass driving range for warm up, balls are extra, and a small green. There was another green behind the first tee. Good variety of holes with water in play on several holes, some elevation change and plenty of bunkers. A few bunkers were lacking rakes, however even when there were some golfers didn't use them. Greens were in great shape and had some severe slopes that made for interesting putts it you put it on the wrong side. Tees and fairways were very good, some fairways had divots that were unrepaired which again falls on the golfers. You are in a cart with a bucket of sand, there is no excuse for not replacing or filling your divot. My biggest course set up complaint is that the tee markers on several holes, especially par 3's, were up much further then the scorecard yardages. Had we known we would have played from the black tees. Lunch was very good and priced right, although the service was a bit lacking when the bar started to fill up. This will be a tour stop for us again next season.

One of my favorites

Still one of my favorite courses. Conditions are excellent overall, even though a few bunkers can still use some work. Allows walking and push carts and gives you a discount for doing so. Caddies are available. Grass range and balls are included. Great layout except for a few awkward walks from green to next tee. No trees, but plenty of tall grass and bunkers.
Biggest negatives are gas carts and expensive food.

Overrated

This course used to be better but it can no longer justify its current high ratings. Sure there are some nice views with the water but it's not that great of a layout. All the doglegs go left to right. Conditions have declined over the years and several greens still show signs of damage from trouble a couple of years ago. Greens were long and slow. Course does not drain well and there was a lot of standing water to slosh through. As a non resident I can think of many other places I would rather play in season price for that price. Very limited practice areas still.

Very nice course

Enjoyed playing here. Nice course overall, with a lot of water in play. Conditions were great except where the lazy and/or inconsiderate golfer didn't replace their divot, fix their ball mark or rake the bunker. Unfortunately that is the case at every public course lately. Greens rolled very nicely. Bunkers were very good for the most part, but balls can plug in the soft faces. Pace of play was 4:40 with no one enforcing the 4:12 that was on the scorecard. There are no drinking water stations on the course. Good grass driving range and short game area, but for $110 balls should be included. A couple of small putting greens near the 1st and 10th tees. Food in the restaurant was just average.

Fantastic course and a great value

This is one of the best values out there, especially during the week. $40 to walk on a weekday afternoon and the conditions are top notch. It is also a very good and challenging layout. The course is a pleasure to walk, but carts and GolfBoards are available. Decent driving range with grass available on the weekends. Two greens for chipping and putting and a bunker. Five sets of tees to choose from. I just wish they didn't fill in the 2nd shot forced carry on the signature 14th hole.

Amazing conditions

A very nice layout with a mix of short and long holes and sloped fast greens. Elevation changes make holes play very different then their yardages. Overall conditions were some of the best I've ever played. Nice new short game area, however the driving range is a bit small so you have to hit very limited flight balls with your woods. It's a real workout if you walk, and unfortunately the carts are gas. Well worth the price paid for the certificate from a charity auction. They are currently seeking new members and have greatly reduced the initiation fee and first year dues.

Way overpriced

I guess most people playing here are either members, on a package from the casino, or getting a reduced or free round with their points. I can't imagine that many people are paying the $140 weekend rack rate like we did for that experience. Hit and wait all day for a 5 hour round. Signs talking about a 4.5 hour round and a cute no slow play sticker on the carts just don't cut it. You need staff on the course keeping people moving. The par fives are a bit quirky but otherwise it's a decent layout. Greens were a little slow for my liking but with the slope on some of them faster greens could slow down the pace of play even more. Bunkers were a mixed bag. Fairways were very good, not many divots. Driving range was underwhelming compared to how it's described on the website. For a better price and better pace I would play again, but not for the time and money I just spent.

Fantastic course and a great value

For the $92 weekend green fee you get a tremendous value. Large all grass driving range with unlimited balls and fairway bunker, chipping green with bunker and large putting green. Great GPS carts, but the course is also walkable. The layout is fun and challenging and the turf conditions are some of the best I play. Bunkers do have some rocks. This is a must play and worth the drive.

Good but should be better

I love the layout and the condition of the grass but other things need work at this price point. The bunkers are just awful, most are hard pack with rocks, I was in just one, on 18, and that had sand in it but the liner was ripped and had all little pieces of it in and around it. The carts are basic no amenity noisy gas and mine squealed when you stepped on the gas and a clip was missing on the windshield so it just kept banging against the frame when up. I don't appreciate the $3 booking fee for booking online and then the $3 resort fee tacked on at check in. Also the amount of range balls you get from your included token is hardly enough for a proper warm up. I expect more for my $136 on a Sunday morning.

Nice course average condition

I really like the course but usually leave disappointed in the condition of the greens as they have not been great for a few years. They have removed several bunkers over the years, and don't do a good job maintaining the ones they still have as they are mostly hard pack and rocks. Very pricey on the weekends, but weekday afternoons are a good price and usually not busy. Pace of play can be hit or miss. If you get behind a foursome of the regular players here it is usually slow. The range is irons only and they have a small chipping and putting area.

Great layout but fairways could be better

I've been playing here for several years, unfortunately the condition of the fairways has declined in that time. The layout is one of the best in the state and the course is challenging. Nice grass driving range, small chipping area and large putting green. Tee times are easy to get at most times as I doesn't appear that they get that much non member play.

Great courses in great shape

Very nice facility with a large driving range and short game area. Challenging layouts with great fairways and thick rough. Greens are still very good but used to be excellent when they controlled the Poa Annua. My only other complaint is the lack of a step cut from the fairway to the rough. Miss the fairway by a foot and you are in 3 inches of thick stuff. Pace can be a little on the slow side.

A great layout in average condition

A great layout that was in very average condition, especially for the price. I don't think they get very much non member play. Grass driving range, bunker and large putting green. The course winds through homes and has many water hazards in play. If it was in better condition it would be a destination course. Greens had some goose grass in them, were thin in some spots and a bit on the slow side. Good roll in the fairways and while thin in a few spots I never really had a bad lie. GPS carts. Pace was fantastic, we went out as a twosome about a half hour after a bunch of member foursomes and never caught up until the 16th hole. Just in time to check out the caged animals by the 16th green and the Bengal Tigers (El Tigre) behind the 17th tee. Lots of Iguanas to be seen on the course too. A very affordable restaurant with a patio overlooking the 18th hole
