Well worth the extra drive to the far end of the valley - nice layout, great conditions, beautiful views and very good value for your $$, thanks to Golf Pass.

On friendly advice, took a chance on a lengthy commute out from Coachella Valley but happily well worth it! Lots of elevation changes (if you’re ok with that), a little rough here and there, nice layout and good greens, new lithium powered carts, nice staff and really good value. Only complaint was no restaurant/bar as shown on website. Once again thank you Golf Pass!

This place used to be OK before the pandemic but the owner (saving money while charging more) has let all the nice big deciduous trees die, not made any improvements and they do stupid things like hold a 27 hole shotgun ladies tournament and still take bookings for noon and beyond. We arrived early for 12:30 tee time, a huge crowd gathered waiting for carts and told “just add 45 mins to your start time, if you don’t want to wait, you can leave”. Meanwhile, since it’s a vary large golf community, residents with their own carts were able to head out on course while 20-30 golfers waited - result a 5 hour round after a 45 min wait AND we had to get two replacement carts as we ended up with carts no fully charged. Won’t be back!

Nice municipal track with an interesting design, decent condition and lots of variety - even a ranger (marshall) who doubled as the starter and kept things moving along. If they found the $$ to complete/improve the cart-path, it would almost be top-notch. Once again, thanks to GolfNow for a great Hot Deal rate, making it really good value.

Definitely worth the drive out from Scottsdale! Really nice design and maintenance. Front and back were two contrasts - challenging but very playable and residential homes didn’t come into play much. Weather was a challenge and who would expect 48F temps but the clouds and sunset were amazing!

Having played there a handful of times, it used to be a place for anyone looking for “cheap” golf (and you got what you payed for). The good news is they sold the range land for a seniors development and in return will have a great looking new clubhouse (almost complete), a new fleet of carts coming, back to the original course layout and numerous improvements throughout. If they don’t decide to “jack” the green fees (like every place else), it will be the best value in south OC. Thanks to Golf Now for the great Hot Deal rate!

Thanks to Covid 19 and the explosion of golf popularity, this course (as with many) has become un-playable, with an afternoon tee time (normally less popular), mid week and what would formally be “off season”, we were able to complete only 6 holes in 2 hrs, then skipped over to the other 18 to complete another 6 holes before dark at 4:30 pm. At the par 3 hole 4 and hole 7, there were three groups for 4 at the same tee box - unheard of , never seen that one before. Make sure to avoid booking Costa Mesa, unless you you can’t afford the other price-gouging courses as an alternative in OC.

Being a short 18 hole track and considering how many new golfers on the East side, Arrowsmith has become the Mecca for retired beginner golfers. If it were not for Golf Now and the sometimes great rates, I would never go there - if you are just a twosome be prepared to spend as much as three + hrs and only pull the driver out 4 times. If you live in Qualicum Beach, it’s convenient and an easier option but it’s gotten far busier than 2-3 yrs ago.

Local golfers in Pt. Alberni should realize what a great golf course they have to play every day! Those golfers from elsewhere should.be prepared for a beautiful but challenging round - lots of hazards if you are not careful, lots of distance for the pro wannabe , super crafty greens (Pete Dye approved), very well maintained . Probably the best value by far on the Island, oops, sorry locals did I say that?

Be prepared to throw the gear shift into reverse , so many “newby” retirees you’ll be lucky to finish in 3 hrs @ -3000 yds.

Always a pleasure to play as a practice round but it sure is getting busy, even after 3pm. Almost 3 1/2 hrs for a half-length course is pretty slow going so unfortunately we missed some good Happy Hour deals at Mickey J’s. Thank you Golf Now for the Hot Deal rate, would never play there for the reg green fees.

Everything there was top notch, convenient and friendly check-in, playable but very challenging, lots of length, variety, tricky elevated greens, nice GPS carts, great bar and restaurant. What great value - thanks Golf Now!

Right from the get go, where to start? Inconvenient/disorganized check-in and cart assignment, regular rates include cart but if you take a “Hot Deal” rate, guess what, no cart, so pay an extra $20, then it ran out of “juice” after 14 holes (but staff was super quick with replacement). So if you have ever seen the movie “Caddyshack” (where they had a gopher problem) - well, this course would need a team of Bill Murray’s and a couple hundred pounds of TNT to fix the problem here! Oh and depending on what you mean by “rough”, here it’s not the grass beside the fairways, it’s the whole place, rough and I mean as rough as it gets, everything about it.

Lots of challenge and distance if you want it and if the wind is up in Indio, makes it that much trickier. Choose the North course over south, more interesting layout, prettier and well manicured. Hard, fast greens.

What a piece of garbage course! Ok, the greens were actually good but the fairways, aaahh, surprised the carts are even maintainable after the thrashing they take. My wife will have to go to see the chiropractor about her back after riding around that course. Do yourself a favour, bring a push-cart and walk.

AV Country Club Golf Course has everything a golfer must appreciate - challenge, natural beauty, excellent conditions and value. Probably the best Van. Isle has to offer but don’t tell anyone - please!

Surprisingly quiet and easy to play (3.75 hrs.) considering how many homes (5000) surround these two challenging but beautiful courses. Lots of water features, plenty of white sand bunkers, elevated and interesting greens, generous but undulating fairways, doglegs - it’s all here to test any golfer. Will be back soon to check out the sister course Santa Rosa.
