I've been. out ro AZ several times on vacation a d always put McDowell Mtn on the list. Great layout and conditions (considering the brutal Summer). Greens rolled true and there was plenty to think about when deciding on your next shot. Staff was friendly a d I had a terrific local beer with my lunch after my round..

One of my favorite vacation courses in AZ, I look
forward to coming back every year. It has everything you'd want with length, precision and undulating greens all having to be considered. Great conditions for early Sept and the staff is always helpful. Keep up the good work!

I’ve played here before and always thought it was tougher than it looks. From the gold at 6700 yds, it is everything you want in a layout. Length and precision are a must on most tee shots or you’ll have brutally long approach shots. Greens rolled beautifully and overall conditions were A+. Our group enjoyed the round and we’ll be back soon

This is one of my favorite vacation courses. Always in good shape and excellent pace of play. Layout is interesting and you need to pay attention to pin locations. Last hole usually is a bogie, I just need to get it out of my head….
Played with a few locals and they were great company. I’ll be back every time I’m in AZ! Highly recommend

Kind of disappointing the course is still in various states of recovery. Tee boxes get an "F" rating along with the fringe around most greens. Fairways are slowly improving, but a lot of bare spots are still visible. After over a year of changing the fairways to Bermuda, still waiting for the course to return to the pristine conditions i remember in 2017 when this was a Top 5 course in the area.

Nice touch by RGM to dispute a negative review by blaming it on 7” of rain. Funny thing the weather service said Leesburg only got 2.25” inches of rain on the day in question. They also have something called pumps that drain bunkers. RF is a great layout, but too often underwhelming conditions. Drainage issues can be fixed, and sod can be replaced. Please restore the course to what it should be. Especially at the rates you charge. Can’t blame it on the outings this year, just neglect.

Great local track in terrific shape. Once they fix the bunkers,(all that rain washed them out) it'll be 5 stars for sure. Lots of undulating greens so be on the right tier to avoid a 3putt. Played today in 4 hours on a holiday which was better than expected. Ill be back

Always look forward to my round here, great mix of precision, length and you need to think about ball placement on the greens ir youll be facing the dreaded 3 putt..
Conditions were excellent and pace was OK for a Sat AM. We finished about 10 min past where we should've been. Not a deal breaker by any means. Staff was friendly and the starter got us out on time.
I would recommend this course for players of all abilities, very challenging and enjoyable.

Postcard picture views on many holes and plenty of trouble if you miss your target. A few fairways need to green up/fill in a little, but that's to be expected from desert golf. Staff everywhere was helpful and eager to help and the grill is A++.

I generally liked Sunridge, however, i am not a fan of blind tee shots and/or layup shots. I have no problem with the course being tough, but i want to see what the challenges are and not guess at distance or club selection. You definitely need to place here several times to have a feel of what lies ahead...
Conditions, the staff and the grill were terrific so that makes for a pleasant afternoon. Scenery was spectacular as well. Ill be back, but will have a yardage book next time

Played the South course today, and while the North may have a more challenging layout, the South is plenty to handle. Well protected greens, with just enough undulation so you need to be careful. Greens were slick and true.
Layout had everything you'd want, long Par 4s and risk/reward Par 5s. Pace was excellent and staff was friendly. Ill be back for sure

First time here and I would return. Good layout, fast greens and you'll need a mix of all the shots in your bag. Starter got us out on time. Pace of play was good and once I adjusted to the speed of the greens, it was fine. There are constant small planes flying overhead, but you get used to it. Use GolfNow to get a Hot Deal to make it even better!

Came out on vacation and booked it between flights as it was fairly close to where I was staying. I was NOT disappointed... Great layout, a good mix of precision and length to go along with very fast greens. Some of the pins were diabolical to say the least..Staff was friendly and we got out on time. Conditions were very good, and the scenery was gorgeous as we played until dusk. I would definitely return here, good value for what you get in return. On my "play list" in the Fall!

Always a good test whenever I come to Stonewall. A good mix of length, precision and shot making all come into play. The short Par 4s need work, (fairway divots) and sand refill stations for the 5% of us who actually fill our divots. Hitting a great tee shot, only to land in someone else's divot is frustrating.
Love the greens, all are quick and you need to think about where your "miss" is going to be. We played on Sat afternoon so they were a little bumpy, but rolled fairly true. Enjoy it every time I come here, twilight is a better deal than AM, but I'm not sure any course around here is worth +$100 on the weekend..Overall, I liked it and will be back

Made a tee time the week before and had something come up so I called to go out later. The staff (Chris?) was more than helpful is getting us out, @ 4:30. We ended up playing the front 2X, but that was fine. For $40, on a beautiful day, it was a great deal. Nobody behind us (or in front) and we fininshed in 3 hours(2some). I appreciated Chris getting us out later. Other than the bunkers being a "work in progress", the course was great. A good mix of length and precision. I'll be back again!

Haven't been to BM at all this year, so it worked out to go yesterday. WOW,I was stunned at the smooth fairways and greens Tee boxes were not all chewed up, nor were the landing areas in the fairways. GN rate of $24 was a bonus. Easily worth more.
We played the gold tees, and it was quite the test at 6709 yards! Can't wait to go back

Fantastic layout and super fast greens, even in November.
You'll need all the shots in your bag here. Precision off the tee
and some greens you have to hit or it'll be a bogey (at least)
No goofy, tricked up holes. You can see what lies ahead on each hole, you just need to execute. I live an hour away and i'll be back.

Got a great GN deal, as was initially excited to play here as I've played in several scrambles and always thought the layout was interesting. I was soon disappointed to see the condition of the course as we began. Grass clippings all over the fairways, bare spots, divots, etc were what we found on the front 9 .. Bunkers with little to no sand, and greens with bare spots also. The back 9 was much better, however it was sad to see what this course has become. They need to shut down the front 9 to get rid of the disease that is affecting the fairways, but that will never happen. This was once a great test, I only hope they are serious about returning it to its former glory

I had heard that Augustine is recovering nicely from the previous owner's neglect and I wanted to check it out, and I was more than pleased at what I found. Good layout, with a mix of length and precision off the tee. Super friendly staff and done in less than 3 1/2 hours(we were a 2-some). Very enjoyable round, I'll be back soon

Great layout, not a lot of hidden surprises....you can see from the tee what lies ahead, you just need to execute the shot. Bunkers are well placed and will turn an short Par 4 into a double bogey.
Staff was friendly and range was decent. Greens were fairly quick, considering it was raining lightly most of the day, Great finishing hole...,risk/reward Par 5. Great GN rate for a Sunday, I'll be back here again soon
