Great course with a challenging yet fair layout for golfers of all levels. Greens were consistent, shot values held throughout. The course is a bit raw currently, meaning it is not fully grown out due to the recent renovation. Tests all clubs in the bag. First class staff. I look for a golf digest best 109 public within 6 years.

A pure gem. A traditional Don Ross course in immaculate condition. The course is as well manicured as any country club in the central Ohio area. Fast greens. Fairways are like carpet. True rough. Well placed sand. Tree lined holes. Everything you would love about American golf.

Course is a fair course. Can test shot making but also rewards the average golfer as well. False front greens force you to hit good approach shots and stay below the hole, or have a testy down hill putt. Hills around greens test short game, as hitting GIRs is a premium. Drive the ball straight on this course and you’ll be rewarded, get wayward, and you may be punching out from underneath a tree.

Nice layout, greens rolled very fast, and presented challenging putts. Greens were small for the average golfer so tough to hit GIRs. A fun course for the average golfer, scoreable yet challenging. Very fair course

Course had a good not great layout, decently wooded for a course in this area of Florida. Moderate amount of water but not located in spots that are intimidating, bunkers are a plenty and often running the entire length of the fairways. Conditions are very good yet again not great, however greens roll true and fairways are nicely cut. Some of the waste bunkers have a some small rocks although it almost seems intentional. I do not like seeing pvc pipe into water hazards and the course had a couple. Shot values are excellent as well.

Overall nice course, would play again and recommend to anyone traveling through Sarasota/Bradenton area if you do not have access to private clubs.

I have had the opportunity to play The Concession about 5-6 times throughout the years, as my father is a member. The course is always in perfect condition, not a blade of grass out of place. Every hole is a different hole and challenges your entire bag. A true shot makers course, that is meant for an avid golfer. Greens are perfect, fast, true, and fair. Hit the ball where you are supposed to and you will score well. Hit the ball poorly, and the course will eat you alive. Fairways are generous with plush grass, water and sand everywhere. Should be a top 100 course, probably top 50, but the gem is well respected amongst golf circles, and that’s all that matters.

Challenging sand trap heavy, water hazard heavy layout that is fun and really tests every club in the bag. Greens are quick and spicy, and roll true.

Greens were fast and rolled true. Fairways and rough were a little burnt out, but that could be due to hot weather coming off the summer. While slightly, burnt, could tell the grounds crew kept them well maintained and even. The course layout was gorgeous, a great combination of sand traps and water to challenge any level of golfer.

Great course with great layout. Greens were in perfect condition and running PGA tour fast. Fairways and rough well maintained with bunkers and fluffy sand. Layout is challenging as there are several very difficult par 3s. A mixture of long par 4s and short par 4s that will make a golfer use his full bag. Overall excellent experience, happy to be a reciprocal member at the club
