Long round. Especially for a weekday. Tee boxes are in pretty bad shape.

Cart path only although course was bone dry. When I asked about it the pro shop said they had an inch of rain two days earlier.

$100 to play an afternoon round. Range was a disaster. Balls are old and well worn and there’s no grass anywhere on the range.

Course itself was not in great shape. Greens were good, but everything else was shaggy. The bunkers were empty. Almost NO sand. Never raked. Big valleys where water had run in the bunkers (apparently from the one inch deluge days earlier).

Overall. It’s a hike to get there from anywhere. It’s expensive - overpriced. The range, course, and bunkers are in terrible shape and even though this insanely hilly course was dry they had it setup for cart path only.

First off - no message about the fact that they just punched the greens. The guy said the holes were small. Huh? Really?

Then they closed the good nine for a high school team on the weekend.

$60 for the lousy 18 and punched greens. No thanks.

It’s such a shame. This course could be great, but it’s just mismanaged terribly.

At the end of the day it’s poorly managed. Either figure out how to get people through your course by asking them to play faster or skip a hole or sell fewer slots. It’s not rocket science - it’s simply a matter of management hiring rangers and enabling them to do their job. There’s no reason in the world this course can’t turn a full house in four hours.
