Kelowna Springs Golf Course
Played On 06/04/2017Great afternoon at the springs!
I was concerned the course would still be affected by the floods, but the fairways and greens were in great shape. Enough water and sand to keep things challenging, while still offering some forgiving open tee shots. Pace of play was kept up and staff were very friendly. Nice course to walk and take it all the scenery around you. Definitely recommend!
Dragons Head Par 3 Golf Club
Played On 09/05/2016A basic, but nice little par 3
This is a nice little course that's in great shape and fun to play. It doesn't have the toughest layout as there are only a handful of holes with water to play over, and there's no sand; however you'll need to be somewhat accurate as all of the holes are lined with trees. The holes are quite short (even for a par three) with fairly flat greens. Skilled golfers looking for a challenging par 3 probably won't find it here, but it makes for a nice low-stress round for those just taking up the game or if you're just trying to sharpen up your short iron play.
Victoria Golf Course
Played On 07/16/2016Nice course with various challenges
The course was in great shape and a pleasure to play. Fairways are forgiving but the challenges come from club selection and a couple holes with interesting elevation changes. Municipal-run courses tend to get criticized more than others, but this course offered up a nice challenge, good pace of play, and decent practice facility in the heart of the city. Will definitely play again.
Twin Willows Golf Club
Played On 07/01/2016Great course for all levels
A nice forgiving course for mid-high handicappers (like me) and low score potential for the better golfer. Makes a person think about club selection on some holes and had a good amount of challenging shots. Not a fancy club house and doesn't have a driving range, but the course was in great shape and a lot of fun to play.
