Coyote Lakes Golf Club

The staff was the friendliest course staff I've dealt with in a long while! The front nine is a bit tight - really narrow fairways, and slower play relative to the back nine, The back nine is more open, and we finished in less than 2 hours. The fairways and tee boxes were in great condition. The greens were slow, pretty thick grass, but manageable.

Four of us playing today with handicaps ranging from 15 to 28. The greens and bunkers were in excellent condition. There is a lot of construction on the front 9, but it only impacts travel between holes. The difficulty created by dips and swales in the fairways was increased by some very wet, muddy conditions. We did have a 7AM start, so that may have played a part in this. One of us had played the course before and that was a big help, as many of the holes are blind/ impossible to read from the tee box/ second shots. We did print out the hole descriptions and that helped. Overall, typical scores for us today - really enjoyed it and am looking forward to playing here again.
Sundance Golf Club
Played On 05/14/2021Nice course, but residents rule, impacting pace of play!
For the 3rd time of about 8 that I've played here, a group jumped on in front of us, in-between tee times... So, we were waiting every stroke, every hole - just over 5 hours in total. I asked afterwards and was told that they do let residents walk right on. Nothing else to say here but make sure you set your expectations. And today, unusually, they cordoned off many of the fairways, so it was almost cart path only. This however should be temporary.
