One of the most picturesque courses we’ve played in the Phoenix area. Lots of great views from each tee.

Fairways and greens are in terrific condition, but the bunkering is pretty severe. We have 9-15 stroke handicaps and were able to access most of the greens, but recognize that if the average golfer doesn’t take a reasonable tee length, they may have difficulty hitting and staying on the greens. Many greens have walls of sand protecting them.

Absolutely loved our afternoon at Estrella. We will return with a full foursome next time.

Apparently it is only a couple of weeks after the over-seeding and the course is in awesome condition. We were very pleased, we can only imagine how nice this track will be in another week or two. Very friendly service, this course is on most “must play” list every time we visit Palm Springs!

What a pleasant surprize!

Almost every tee shot gives you a beautiful panoramic view of the hole you are about to play. We had heard positive things about the course before playing and this course is now a permanent fixture on our "must" play list for future golf vacations to Phoenix. This course has elevation changes other courses would die for, and there are enough tee choices to make this a challenging and fun course for every handicap level.

You will not be disappointed with this course! Our foursome can't wait to get back. Thanks!

Definitely worth the drive!

Wonderful course, beautiful Par 3's. Challenging but fair, you can see almost all landing areas clearly from the tee - this reduces the number of unpleasant surprises you sometimes get at other courses when you walk up to your ball after a nice tee shot.

Beautiful track, but condition not up to previous standards. Especially greens!

They also need a bigger putting green and a proper driving range to charge a premium price per round.

Sorry, but not worth $199/round.

This course really needs some TLC.

I fear many golfers will be disappointed with the condition of this course. Yes, it is a nice Robert Trent Jones design, but he would probably be shocked to see how far downhill this course has fallen. It is a travesty to market this course under the Trent Jones marquee - almost false advertising.

Sorry, but this course needs a lot of work or we won't be back, nor would our foursome recommend the course to any of our friends.

Course is very well laid out, lots of variety, challenging yet very playable - no gimmicks or blind shots. My entire foursome, from a zero handicapper to a 20+ handicapper, all enjoyed this course.

We will definitely play this course the next time we are in town. Thanks!
