Course conditions were pristine... starting with the humongous practice green which is cut to course standards ...... a 1/2 hour of practice we were ready to attack the course notifying the starting staff .... even though we had 70 minutes to wait for our tee time and the other unknown twosome to join at 11:33 we were enjoying the scenery which is spectacular starting with 1st. or 10th hole Raised tee boxes some fifty feet above the fairways....from the Blue ,.Black or Gold tees ( visible and pleasing other hole come into view)
The starter offer us the opportunity to start close to an hour earlier as a two some we accepted and off we went with appreciation of the service rendered......... exceptionally well groomed ... and scenic we were thanking the power that be for the privilege for the experience of Loch March. So go and enjoy this experience before season finishes or it will be your loss !

I was impressed upon arrival from the ample size of the Bent Grass Practice Green and Reception by Staff outside the Clubhouse before entering the
Pro Shop for our 11:33 round..... The cleanliness of the establishment was very professional in all aspects . Courteous Players assistants , starters and the welcoming committee named Elene !
The course was well manicured and the
Bent Grass Greens rolling at close to 11 made this a challenge to learn control your putting speed; with almost secluded fairways it made for a scenic peaceful day on the links! Enjoyed the facilities' large patio setting for an after game refreshing cocktail and after I had viewed the banquet lounges I was Impressed with what Daniel Nadon and her staff has accomplished.... thank you Loch March team for making this a reason to return !

Worth the experience, although cart paths leave much to be desired >>> so rough >>>>two ( 2 ) of our 3 PERSON group endured minor back problems as I am ....one of them !
Fairways seemed to be too dry >> a lot of hard ground under tough grass,
Brought a friend up for his birthday to golf & meal after round ,,,,, having looked at their menu on the computer .... got there .... no beverages (bar type) and restaurant facilities available due to not received liquor licence and operational permit ! That was a disappointment ........

A Gem in the western part of the city , visually pleasing ,peaceful, make you think golf course, always well manicured tee to green ........... with several fairways requiring target preferred shots! Our most recent visit ( actually yesterday) due to weather there we few people and a few occasional sprinkles which added to the intensity of the pin placement on several putting surfaces rolling true and well, and on the 17th green .... Bravo and challenging !

Although, the Ottawa area has been deluged with what is known now as the 100 year flood .... many have lost homes ! It was cart paths only.... no accumulation on Fairways but moist & lush.
Three divots taken, no excessive moisture divots damp only, reason for Cart paths only !
As the words rang true of General Macarthur

A pearl of a gem, a little south west of Ottawa ( an hours drive )........ greens were cut and in very good condition , rolling true and tidy and only a few areas of the fairways where the leaf rule might be considered.
No aeration , had been executed at this point which was a surprise,
Only disappointment was that ........... what seemed to have been a disgruntled or lazy group in front of us ...... left 5 of the last 6 flags on the greens ( not in the upright cup position) and a couple of those were several feet from the from the designated placement and the winds were not strong enough to make Flagsticks fly several feet from the hole........(annoying at best ). The young staff member in the pro shop tried to indicate it could have been the the wind...but there were several greens in non windy areas and those markers were grounded. only a few more weeks of Northern Golf ..... enjoy !

it can be pricy for a game-- for what you get , follow GolfNow.com or
other like services for great deals Many courses of equal quality offer better price ranges in Orlando / Kissimmee area,
but , it is an experience to enjoy !
Try not to over power your tee shot , better off in the fairway than being in one of the numerous waste bunkers / areas that can get you into difficulty--very few water hassard that can cause you grief...but, if you view and think you can be a winner ... not a ball loser!!
