Although the course was a bit longer than my home course, the layout and great maintenance on and around the course reduced the probability of lost balls. The wind was really blowing which added to the length challenge and the greens were rather fast.
This was our second time playing the Boulder City course (we liked it enough to come back in the same week). We were paired up with 2 locals who were great guides on the course.

Although the carts had GPS units, they units did not display the hole layouts, nor did the score cards!

There were signs everywhere with Rattlesnake warnings.

The first 9holes we played in under 2 hours, on the next 9 we were behind three really slow players, had to wait at every hole. There were 2 really impatient players behind us that did not wait, just fired away while we were still on the greens.....took nearly 3 hours....

This was the course that I played as I was learning the game. It was a lot of fun to re-visit it and to see that my game has improved!

I am pleased to report that the greens have improved quite a bit.

The Belmont is a nicely maintained course, with a few tricky tee shots. The water that ran along several fairways was fun.... The fairways and tees boxes were great, the greens a bit bumpy.

Discovered this "oldie but goodie" course late this summer and have returned again and again.

The course is in overall good condition and the greens are challenging (like a fast roller coaster!). The yellow (ladies) tee boxes are not as level as they could be, but hey it's golf!
