Cypress at Palm-Aire Country Club
Played On 03/05/2023Slow play!
5 hour round. Horrible. Bathrooms had keypads and no one in our group had the code. I like the challenge of a tight course. There are some solid holes. Very tight. A few tee boxes were beyond bad.
West at Jacaranda Golf Club
Played On 03/14/2019First time on this course
The title means a lot. Shoot, I tell people not to rate a course unless they play It 3 times. I will say this course tests your ball control. There are bailouts sometimes but club selection is big. The grass on the West was better than the East. Greens were a bit better. There was a fun Beiritz green on the back. Like the East you have more openness on the back but it’s not all open. Water lurks. Chipping off the tight fairways is key. Not a lot of sand in the bunkers. The course flyover on the screens in the carts help but ya got work on knowing what’s where. If youtba little wild and you hit over a hill you might be surprised to see water. Don’t grab a bottle of water at the turn. It will set you back! I got a Golfnow price. I recommend it. The others paid too much. Professional staff inside. Nice setting overall and few memorable holes. A bit tight here and there.
East at Jacaranda Golf Club
Played On 03/13/2019Martin
Jacaranda East is a fine golf course. Played from tee #3 which was about 6,400. Played long with the wind and softness. Yes, they’ve been watering because I had mud balls and saw plug marks all day. There are some areas where grass growth is a problem and that’s a problem around the greens. The front has some tight driving or non driver holes for many. The back is more open. You have to be golfing your ball well to get around this place. Fair. Not easy. The greens were covered lightly with white stuff. Not too bad but different to putt on. The greens can be tough if your not careful. A couple of slopes that sneak up on you if your not careful. There are a few fun risk/reward holes and a few gorgeous holes on the back. 3rd time playing and I will go back. Very nice staff inside and out. Very nice pro shop and facility. Fun place to play.
We're glad you had fun while playing Jacaranda and we appreciate you posting a review. See you soon!
The Bridges at Springtree Golf Club
Played On 02/13/2018Great short course
This course is tough from the back tees. I hit is decently long and I use my driver, three wood, hybrids, 4irom as well as wedges and high irons. It’s a great mix. There are a handful of par 4,s one par 5 and the rest are 3’s. Some holes are very tight and some are short. If you can get around with the same ball you have done some good job. Also you can really work on your pitching and chipping. The ranger does a nice job moving you around a slow group if there is room. What’s I like is the speed of a round. It takes an hour less than a full course. The 9th hole is a dogleg left around a nice chain restaurant . So they got that going for themselves. The price is right and they gave a deal on golf and lunch but never have eaten there.
We appreciate you taking the time to post such a thorough review. We're glad you enjoyed the club and look forward to seeing you again soon.
