Indian Springs Metropark Golf Course
Played On 08/30/2020Worth it for the views and wildlife, even if your round doesn't go well
Great course for the average or below golfer that likes some challenge but also offers plenty of relief for those errant shots. Greens are quick and well kept. Book a tee time during the week or early morning on weekends - this course seems to get busy and booked fast - even during Sunday night twilight - pace a play was unfortunately terrible on the day I went, but definitely worth a second visit to finish the entire 18.
Fox Hills Golf Center - Strategic Fox Course
Played On 06/12/2016Good Par 3 to hone your skills and accuracy for all ages
Best Par 3 course in the surrounding areas, great for a solo round to hone skills or a fun challenge for family and friends. Provides a decent lay out with some challenges to overcome, and the greens are big and inviting, and even late in the day still move quickly.
Huntmore Golf Club

Worth the trip. Looking forward to replaying in nicer weather and later in the season.
The Links at Lake Erie
Played On 07/19/2015Average and plain
Very open, and easy course. Play only if you are looking to score well and play quick. Best part of this course is the greens. Big and well kept but boring after a while, all about the same size and shape. Hole 3 has a whooping 10 yard wide fairway and all greens had super thick rough around the greens, no fairway to green transitions so don't plan on being able to bounce or run it up, it's flying it or getting stuck in the thick rough around the greens. 1st time and last time playing this course, not even a challenge from the tips and in 25 mph Winds.
Stonebridge Golf Club
Played On 06/14/2015Value Friendly - All level appropriate
Course is well kept and well worth the value and time. If you're looking for a good round with a medium level challenge, scenic holes, this is the place. Only complaints are the greens are on the smaller side and the hardest holes are the par 3s, so if you can handle the 4s and easy scoring par 5s you should do well here.
Crestview Golf Course
Played On 06/06/2015Don't waste the time or money
The only positives to this course are the greens, their a decent speed and well kept. Value is absurdly high compared to the shape, challenge and experience of this course. Spend a little more money and play Thornapple Creek, Heritage Glen, or the Moors if an option. Not worth time or money unless it's playing in the Annual Big Hole Tourneys in summer and fall.
Stonehedge North Course at Gull Lake View Golf Club and Resort
Played On 07/07/2013Slowest greens played on all year
Nice course in good shape but extremely slow greens hard to stay happy with the horrendous pace of the greens. Needs work asapj
Bedford Valley Course at Gull Lake View Golf Club and Resort
Played On 06/22/2013Well maintained but ultimately unchallenging course
I was looking forward to playing this course for a while but upon playing found myself satisfied with the layout and scenery but ultimately unchallenged. Not a hard golf course, even during a rough round of some bad shots still shot 74.
The Legacy at Hastings
Played On 6/16/2013Greens are well maintained but too small
Wouldn't pay full price to play this course, fairways kept too long and no bounce or roll to them and very unfriendly to new players hole descriptions very vague. The layout of the pro shop and restaurant banquet center is a confusing mess and it feels very unsafe to park your cars or the ridiculously sloped parking lot and super close relation to the holes.
Yarrow Golf Course
Played On 04/22/2013$19 for 18 and a cart here is a steal of the century
Easily inside my TOP 5 golf courses in Michigan played so far. Definitely worth the time and drive if you can.
