wow

played 36 here ladt week (jan 24), and what a pleasant surprise, great staff great amenities and above all else, great golf at phenomenal pry. 2 of us played 36 holes on carts and only spent $105. Total, ahh yep, that’s for both us all day. Great greens, fun fun layout, beautiful parkland style course. It’s 35 minutes south of Phoenix, if u haven’t gone, then GO, you’re missing out.

solid course

This isn’t country club folks it’s just an old muni, BUT, it’s got about 10 of the nicest holes anywhere for not much money. If u need a laid back fun round of golf that will test your entire skill set, then go, u won’t be disappointed

Great

If want a world class layout and fantastic course conditions then play here, it’s a monster worth every penny. And they don’t want many pennies to play here. Book your time and go, period, pound for pound this is as good a $30-$40 round of golf in the entire valley

not good

very poor conditioning was our biggest disappointment. Greens were very thin and in some cases more dirt than grass. We paid $94 for 2 of us on a cart, u might think in Phoenix in January that’s pretty good, NOT THIS TIME. That’s double what this piece of junk is worth . We play 8 different muni courses in a 9 day period and Bear Creek Championship crse was by far the worst. Terrible experience, and I’m a former golf professional, so I do know quality when I see it. This isn’t it.

Packed

Unfortunately we ran into a frost delay that morning which lasted an hour or so, we didn’t tee off until 1pm, so I grumble with a bit of a caveat. There were lots of foursomes out there so pace would expect to be slow however the prebooked 5-some in front of us was terrible. With obvious beginner players in front and the experienced Dad teaching the daughters was frustrating to say the least. They finished 18 holes a 2 full holes behind, which sounds almost ok, except it was already slow so keeping up should have been easy. No marshals on course, and a warning from the starter about the 5some before we teed off. So why allow the 5 players on a single tee time to begin with. They should have let us go ahead and could have at 18 different tee boxes, but they didn’t know any better so our attempts to sneak past fell on deaf ears. I don’t appreciate golf courses that penalize the public for booking pm tee times to save a few bucks then send the beverage cart and course marshals home early. It’s clear at 99% of courses that if u pay less you get less. Well tell that to the 500 courses that go bankrupt every year.. Ty needed those pm tee times

Good

Primm is a great place to play. Lakes is a terrific golf course and Desert is good. In need a a little investment, bunkers are in neglect and fairways are thin but overall a great value. Don’t pay rack rate, not worth $100

Thank you for playing Primm Valley Golf Club, Todd! We appreciate your kind words about both courses as well as your feedback regarding the bunkers. We have recently started a large-scale reinvestment into all 36 holes at Primm and we are actively working on the bunker situation. We apologize that you caught us in the middle of the project, but hopeful that you will join us in the future to see the finished product!

Primm and proper

both courses at Primm Valley are terrific, Lakes is the better quality overall but Desert is well worth the trip. If you’re golfing in vegas do yourself a favor and make the 30 minute drive to Primm you won’t be disappointed

Good course BUT

Fun layout and good staff but honestly it's hard to justify paying $82 for an early season round on so so conditions and cool weather. This course is living off members and hammering the general public. Not uncommon in BC, but the course is empty after 11am every day and the tee is empty. That's gotta tell you something ! This is good course not a great one. $80 green fees in april is a flashing red sign saying "stay away" unless you can get some type of deal. 4 pm was twilight, another questionable decision by this course. 3 pm and $40 makes more sense

overvalued

Kelowna is an overpriced golf market at the bedt of times and this course is at the top of the list. A basic wide open layout with minimal shot values. Nice views of the lake and a good overall facility but the $100+ green fees is at least $40 too high for what you're getting! If this place was $60-$70 it would be an affordable average golf course, now it's just a members golf course because green fee players are wising up.

no value

unless you get this on a great rate of golfnow don't bother! The two courses at this facility are average layouts in average condition. They will charge you $90 to play here and get away with it because everyone else in town charges $100+. Don't be fooled, don't pay over $50 for this place, in fact don't pay over $40

residents get the rates

I understand that without the support of the local golfers, staying in business becomes very tough, however, charging the proper fees to the locals can only mean you're gouging the tourists. $90+ for a visitor to your course while charging 35 for a local is insulting. As long as that practice continues we won't be back. We are all golfers, we're all people under the golf sun, treat us equally and with respect. Your courses aren't worth $100, sorry they just aren't

good value

The greenback course is the little brother to the great blue course at heron lakes. It is a good layout and in great shape. The greens are top notch both in design and in condition. Not difficult off the tee but plenty of character nonetheless!

course is too difficult

regardless of your desired sets if tees this course
will eat your golf balls, fairways lined with thorny bushes on many holes are completely unaccessable, when balls even roll in, they are gone,,,,period. The layout is very good, but difficult! For people thinking this is a resort setting think again, these courses at Tera Lago are beasts. Good course conditions and great facility make this place a good place to come but players beware, you do need some game to enjoy these courses

Canoe treat

Great greens, fun layout, hit every club in the bag. Maybe a bit rough around the edges but still a very enjoyable round. I would charge a bit less a get the place hopping, but not my call. I've paid more for worse! This place at $50 would be awesome
