I always love playing here and the conditioning today was about as good as I have ever seen it. Almost a bit too lush as I am used to this being harder and faster. But just in wonderful shape overall. And the design lends itself to being imaginative and creative in how to play the variety of holes. Just think it is the most interesting and most fun place to play in Southern CA.

I hadn't played this course in probably 20 years but had a great time. The course was in excellent shape. I believe this is primarily a private club with some limited public times. Was sent out as part of a shotgun start with some other Golfnow people but the rest of the tourney was members. Not a problem because we started on 16 with no other groups ahead of us. We never saw another group. It is a fair, straightforward test. Not tricked up at all but still enough challenge to keep it interesting. Greens were perfect, quick but not over the top. Just a really enjoyable round of golf.
