Hammock Beach Resort - The Conservatory Course
Played On 12/21/2013A hidden gem!
This course is well hidden but don't let it pass you by. It's a must for all levels but for you single-digit handicappers such s myself, do it! The staff was very considerate and ranger well mannered, asking others to let me play through. I will definitely play this course in the future and would recommend this over the Ocean course.
The Breakers - Rees Jones Course
Played On 12/21/2012Well worth the money spent
This course, I must say, is one of the best conditioned courses I've ever played. Being from Southeastern Pennsylvania, I've had the opportunity to play some of the top courses (Merion East, Aronimink, Saucon Valley, etc.) and definitely put this course right up with these in terms of level of difficulty and course condition. Playing 7,100+ from the tips, with a 75.9 rating and 147 slope, it's well worth the $150 fee and would definitely recommend putting it on your schedule if you're to visit West Palm Beach.
Hawk's Eye at Shanty Creek
Played On 8/1/2012Great Design with Potential
This course was a fairly young course but with its designs and unique character, it definitely has potential to be something special. When the greens mature and their condition are thinly cut, it could be a very difficult course for your short game. Would certainly re-visit when I go back to Northern Michigan.
The Legend at Shanty Creek
Played On 8/1/2012Certainly Met My Expectations
This Arnold Palmer designed golf course was one of my favorites in the Bellaire, Michigan area. This course was both long and tight and at times had my game hitting shots I never had played before. Will certainly play when I head back out to Northern Michigan.
