Everyone who I interacted with was helpful.
The only manageable situation that I encountered was the lack their of controlling the rough.
Playing competitive courses shows they can make the round more enjoyable and faster when you’re not searching for your ball that’s just off the fairway due to the overgrowth of the rough.

Got an early tee time on a hot day, Sunday, and had no one either pushing or slowing us down.
The course was in mid-season condition, the fairways lush, the traps cleaned, and the greens as good as you would expect on a top quality course.
I am looking forward to joining this course for its seasonal price benefits.

Tried to play golf as a single. There were no course managers on site (starters, marshalls), so trying to play was a struggle, not only by the number of multi-player groups in front of me, but when I tried to play certain holes, in sequence, they had the watering system on, so I had to either get wet or pick up. I chose to pick up and go home after 12 holes.
This is not my first experience that was negative, so I will never play there again.
P.S. I used to be a summer member.

Our tee time was directly after the Men’s Club Championship time. Due to the important essence of their round (to them) everyone after had to play at their ego driven pace.
The course staff came out to let the following players know the reason for the really slow pace. When accepting tee times after the before mentioned Mens Club Mesquite should have not used the regular time spacing but one of at twice as long for a period of time, reducing it for another shorter period of time and then back to the regular spacing.
I realize that Mesquite is in business to make as money as they can, but doing it by inconveniencing the other paying customers is not a long term positive.

This course is the most poorly maintained of any course I've ever played on!
I wouldn't play here again if it was FREE !
